  1. We call that activity "doing it Opelika style". I am sure a bunch of my buddy's just spit up on the screen reading that.
  2. Post the video or I am going to stick your head in a toilet next time I see you, foo!
  3. The "standard" design SkyVenture tunnels are all "total loss" systems. They suck air in from the bottom, through the venturi (flying chamber) and blow it out the top after it passes the electric motors. The Colorado design is a recirculating tunnel, as is the one on Fort Bragg (though it looks totally different) and, I am assuming, the Bedford tunnel. Chuck
  4. Ask Karen Lewis (Lewmonst on here). She regularly hauls meet at Perris and she femured at Rantoul a couple of years ago. Same for Tim Tennant (USskydiver on here) at Raeford. He still has a titanium rod in his leg and does tandems pretty regularly. Chuck
  5. I thought this thread was going to be about Lee Gerrard (Skinny)
  6. I know more than a few people who have tried repeatedly and failed everytime when they tried to "prioritize" their "dates". Simply stated, if you are dating around, then you have no say whatsoever over what any of your likewise-dating-around boyfriends do. If you want a monogamous sexual relationship, then you need to refrain from stringing other guys along. It's also not fair for the other guys who are not getting laid in the deal. "What do you mean we can't have sex? You want to date me, yet you want to put restrictions on the relationship?" Personally, I don't see the point in that. Either you want to date around (and all that includes) because you don't want to be tied down to one person, or you are looking for one "decent" person. We have one good friend here who regularly wrecked herself emotionally trying to do exactly what you propose. She was married (they swing), had a "primary" boyfriend, and at least three backup-date/bootie calls that she kept tiered in order of preference. Her house, phone bill, and life was a zoo. Chuck
  7. Correct. That's the Hog Flop weekend at Palatka! If you are able to travel you simply can't miss that.
  8. Really nice shots. They make me want to cry.... Outstanding performances, guys.
  9. Huh? I don't know, man. In my 800+ wingsuit flights I have done some very slow flying and some very, very fast flying. I chase a lot of students around the sky and the ability to do both is exactly what I need (and what I have). Your experience may vary if you pigeon-hole yourself into only one wingsuit usage. Chuck BMCI
  10. You tell'em, foo! It's all about range. Chuck
  11. You guys do know you totally hijacked what was supposed to be a serious thread, don't you?
  12. Watch it, Daniel! The farm is like WFFC as far as fiesta time goes! You might burn up your brain there! Go have fun......just don't tell daddy. Chuck
  13. Ferry fees waived since you need to get it out of your place anyway? I know that someone at San Marcos posted something about wishing you guys would hook them up. Chuck
  14. I did four-way scrambles at the POPS spring meet in Lake Wales a couple of years ago with Bernie. Our team got third!
  15. I started riding at age six on an old Briggs and Stratton-equipped mini bike, but my dad bought me a brand spanking new 1974 Yamaha MX-80 on my birthday that year. I remember very clearly that it cost $425, tax included, back then. Getting a "man child" on a bike as soon as possible is very important in my opinion.
  16. I don't get it. I have no idea how your comment turned this thread into a pissing contest, but it was obviously an inside comment that none of the rest of us got. At any rate, let it drop. And for the record: Kramer is a horrible driver.......and so is Sunshine......and so is Macca. I can promise you that Kramer has done the most monetary damage to vehicles though.
  17. Sunshine is a horrible golf cart driver. She ranks right up there with Macca! She is also the first person to mooch your scooter or any other form of motorized conveyance when at the convention. Shame on you, Dave.
  18. I will have to concede that JD really does fit the band. He did better and better toward the end and they band seemed genuinely stoked to have him front them. Both Marty and Mig will do fine with whatever projects they involve themselves in. Chuck
  19. You poor, poor guy. Chuck Combat Dive Supervisor/Military Freefall Jumpmaster
  20. I am pretty sure my first 8-track was an Elton John "best of" thing that was done when I was in grade school.
  21. Ophelia just hit the coast of NC this past week; it wasn't a big deal.
  22. I lived through a tandem total with drogue in tow which I had to fire my reserve into. My three-ring drogue release cable got pulled through the zero grommet, thus locking the entire mechanism and preventing drogue release by means of either three handles. I got a reserve over my head at around two grand and stood the landing up in the peas. The passenger never knew anything was up. I landed with the drogue trailing behind me, still fully inflated. Chuck
  23. Ouragan...period. Nancy's suits are the industry standard as far as construction goes. Her suits are expensive, but totally worth it in my (and my wife's) opinion.
  24. I moved this to G&R for the obvious reason: it's about gear.
