Anyone jump Ryan Field in Tucson in 60's or 70's?
mcGowan replied to tcmidge's topic in Skydiving History & Trivia
hi midge i used to jump at ryan back in the late 60s and jumped out of bob's gull wing stenson many times. also went to he and nora's (his then wife) house for some great after jump parties. oh boy they were some of the best times i can almost remember they where some great times and some very great memories peace mike -
a lot of good memories from that dz. and the folks i jumped with there. thanks for the reminder russ

any of you canon 20d shooters had trouble with the err99 issue?

well i used to shoot nikon but the 20 d was just to much camera in such a light package. so now i am shooting canon and so far very glad i made the switch. why? lighter, fast and accurate focusing, great buffer and write speed but most of all, everything equal the canon produces a better image (very low noise) truth is though it isn't really the camera brand that is most important. it is the passion you have for creating the image that makes the real difference. -

anyone heard any updates on the status of the calendar? i have some ladies wanting to schedule for a shoot and i am not sure what to tell them
-
hi tupac i very much like your enthusiasm. can you get a work visa? i know it is way long distance but why don't you give me a call 520 466 4403

the school requires that my video people have 500 or more jumps two hundred video jumps would be great although the most important thing is attitude. we have a tight fun loving crew and that is the important thing. i can teach the right person how to do the video we need but i can't teach you how to be a team player no digital still is needed we give the customer a roll of film if the choose the stills

$25 to $55 depending on the video package sold

love to have ya jp but i have a feeling kate and tony would have my backside peace bro
-
you are probably right dave. unless you can get some sort of work visa we would be flirting with trouble. when is our governments going to get it figured out. we are one world, one tribe

the d2h is considerably faster than the 10d but image quality is lacking compared to your 10d. wish i could afford to jump over to the cannon camp and get the mk2. it seems to have it all, speed and image quality.
-
the kodak had a lot of strong features but was a bit to slow. the d2h's 8 fps and practically never running out of buffer was just to tempting
-
ok i did find something wrong with tony's cover shot. i didn't take it
-
haven't gotten my july issue yet but if tony took the shot my guess is it is great. congrats tony how did the skydive az ad look?
-
anyone out there have any experience with the d2h? in paticular with the wired remote.
-
thanks jim those were some very kind words. they say much about you, i believe that nice people tend to say nice things and visa versa. the photos brought back some great memories. liberty parachute team. right? lets see i am jumping a chest video recorder and a contax still camera. that would make it about 1989 - 1990. is taht about right? peace bro mcgowan
