    Nah, I think the role sort of morphed or is misunderstood by many. The origins of god-parents are to be a spiritual mentor / guide for the child. They are to be part of the baptism, confirmation, and spiritual teachings of the child (unless the family is Jewish, then the role is a bit different). As far as the legal aspect, the god-parent has no legal right to the child unless the biological parents have a will that states the god-parent will become the foster parent in the case of an untimely death of both biological parents. g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?"     Yup, I had it this time last year... I spent 3 weeks ignoring it because I thought work was more important than taking care of myself. I finally went to the Dr. and she laid me up for a week - probably the best thing otherwise I may have ended up in the hospital for being such a dork.     My Nephew is a chef and he has asked for a knife roll kit for Christmas.... he has specified he wants a tri fold, with clips instead of straps, and 12 plus capacity. I've been googling all morning looking at messermeister, wusthof, etc., however am not having any luck finding what he's described.
