This is so true! LP is one of the most serene beautiful places, and by far one of the BEST boogies I've ever been to. To have that peace and serenity ripped from under your feet is quite disturbing (especially when it's sexually derogatory). For the most part the vibe of the boogie is very family orientated. It's truly a feeling of oneness with the jumpers and with mother earth (okay call me dorky on that - but that's really the only way I can describe it). Hi G, but was this the guy, or was he the only available victim, due to his inability to respond. So far all I've heard in this post is rationalisations for cowardly behaviour Not that I'm aware of.... I didn't pay close enough attention because I didn't agree with what was going on. I do believe that there are better ways to handle the "local" situation - I was merely trying to give a specific example of the apparent ongoing problem there. How they chose to deal with it is their choice - it wouldn't necessarily be mine (as stated I went to bed). I also haven't had 16 years of this type of behavior - I think after that many years I'd be a lil pissy too.... The DZ is pushing for better preventative measures - which through other's accounts ARE working. Hopefully both jumpers and locals alike will learn to play nicely together. I can't speak for what has happened in the past, but I can say that Beth and I (more so Beth) had a bad experience with the locals (verbal assualt/blatent dis-respect). We were lucky enough that Turtle diffused the situation by quickly removing us from the environment.
