    Hey Duck, I haven't lived there as an adult, but did live in Okinawa for close to 5 years throughout JHS / HS. If I had the chance (cost of living / environment), I'd choose Okinawa over Mainland. I went to HS near Zukeran - very friendly people. It's been so long since I've been there - most who've been back say I wouldn't recognize it - guess it's developed into a small city. The good thing though, beaches are always a hop skip and jump away. The coral reefs are amazing!     Maintaining a loss of 9 lbs.     I did. It was fun. The take off and landing are intense. The ride is very slow, but cool cuz you can check out everything - it's also a bit load.     Thanks everyone!!!! I brought the job to my co-workers attention and he has also applied! TURD!!!! The job will definitely be high stress, but the benefits (hopefully) will outweigh it, not to mention the experience I'd gain ~ ooooh LA LA!!! g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?"     The hardest part is sitting down at dinner with my chicken / greens and watching Steve and his son chow down pizza, or nan, or steak, or braut, or In n Out - I sit there and drool! So, I end up taking a bite or two off of Steve's plate - and can't resist the beer (that's the worst). I know it's not much, but I still feel guilty for doing it. I have definitely been eating healthier so I'm not beating myself up too much, I just know that I can do better! g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?"     Okay, so I posted about applying for a job in Australia a while ago - that did not pan out as the company was not considering re-lo. I have now sent notice for a 2 year contract in Europe assisting with the Volvo Ocean Race. 1 year in UK, 1 year traveling with the ocean race..... GOD I WANT THIS!!!!! Cross your fingers and toes that I get a good response from the hiring mgr on Monday.
