as would be deserving, or the owner could always sell the airport to them at an ungodly high price, law says a person cant sell to someone specifically land at lower than market price if he wouldn't sell to someone else at that price to, but as far as i know law doesn't say u cant sell above market value by say 20 fold the price to someone u don't like. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

it was said earlier that the HOA had to pay money for use of facility, if they are not paying the money, and the land is privately owned, they should not be allowed to use the airport. some sort of contract should be in place right? stating what each has obligations for. who was the first to break the conditions? owner or HOA? if HOA was first to break it then they should not be allowed to use the airport until new contract is place, and that should be only if land owner wants to. at last resort owner could always sell land to someone else besides the HOA, say a homebuilder for example, that would build houses on the land instead of keeping it an airport. if that happened the dz could use the money move a little bit down the road, or as it looks like on google earth, buy the land a little to the north of the dz and out in another privatly owned strip with no concesions to the HOA for use (correct me if im wrong but privatly owned land is just that private they couldn't force the owner to do anything that the owner doesn't want to do) and not have to deal with the HOA anymore, if the developer was big enough they would have pockets far deeper than the HOA could ever get for fighting legal battles. leaving them without a airport. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

What entitlement programs would you cut, and how much would it save?
azdiver replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
I thought we were talking about spending cuts. The one time I collected unemployment in Colorado (2003) it was capped at $400 a week regardless of how much you made or $1600 a month and $10K on total benefits. dont ever plan on getting that from unemp in az top out here is 214 a week max 6k year. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak -

Windfall profits tax is a bad idea. But please tell me how massive subsidies to the petroleum industry, with yet again posting the largest profits of any industry EVER recorded, is considered free market economics. You make a valid point with the subsidies but government likes high gas prices since they get .40 to.50 cents tax per gallon. Average Federal + State gas tax is $0.47/gal, and does NOT depend of the price of gas at the pump. Hence gas tax revenues depend on gallons sold, not on price/gallon. If high prices lead to lower consumption, then govt. revenues would drop when the price increases. obama is wanting to add another tax per gallon on gas for his global poverty bill, adding even more to the price. he sure is a friend to the poor and middle class isnt he. making it so people cant afford to drive to work with their current cars, and with obama declaring theres a recession, so it must be so, people cant buy new ones. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

They maintain a pool and clubhouse for resident's usage. Mow the greenbelt areas, maintain sidewalks, etc. They keep people from having unkempt yards, junk cars, etc. They hire the sheriff for police patrols and spray for mosquitoes. It does keep the neighborhood looking nice. It also keeps everyone looking boringly identical. If you violate their rules, they send a legal letter requesting that you come into compliance. If you don't respond, eventually, they can put a lien on your home. Then at some point in the future when you sell it, they take some of your cash for the trouble they went to rectifying the problem at their own expense. they can also take your house and sell it if you rack up enough penalties, meaning you would lose everything you had put into it equity and all light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

look up octillion corp. they just stared on their new tech for solar using nano bots placed on glass, sounds pretty promising as well. they are supposed to be working on a plant for production now, untill recently the biggest problem was placing the bots, took long time and lots of labor. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

a company called petro sun in az just got their building permits for their plant thay will be building in az between coolidge and tucson, for those that dont know its by eloy. they are going to be making bio jet fuel and diesel there. he forgot to add that algae produces tons of hydrogen also. if those lefty enviro nuts were truly into what they talk about they would be all over this, but their not. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

look into bio diesel home kits, a little expensive to start with but, with diesel at 4 bucks a gal it will take aprox 2500 gals of fuel to break even on the cost of starting up. after words it will average out to 1.60 to 1.75 gal according to some of the manufacturers if you use the peanut oil to make. even less per gal if you use old fry oil, but that could be hard to get now as alot of people are doing this, if you wait a while algae biofuels should start making some progress, this could be what makes the biggest impact as u can get many different fuels out of one crop, hydrogen, biodiesel and eth. And produce 30 times more than food crops per acre. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak

Obama Backs Oil Profits Tax, Attacks McCain
azdiver replied to StreetScooby's topic in Speakers Corner
will have to look into the the 3.8 a year, my understanding of the other was lifting the tax at the pump, how would this benifit the oil co? it would lower the price we pay, the loser would be the gov. shouldnt impact the oil co. either way, unless they hiked the price to make up the diff. of the tax. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak -

Would This End the NO DRILL Rules We Currently Suffer Under?
azdiver replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
i think your mistaking my intent, the ? i posed was for actual insight, and not just toting a line type ?. his answer for being against it so far is only that he doesnt want it done in a refuge, would just like to know his reasoning that gives him that position. anwar has already been drilled into, the holes are there, so its not like the oil co. will be going all over it in search of oil, and clearing out portions of land all over the place, or destroy huge areas its a very small section of ground . light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak -
Would This End the NO DRILL Rules We Currently Suffer Under?
azdiver replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
why exactly are u against drilling in anwar? after all the amount of space need for doing it is small and the impact is minimal to the env. however the impact on the economy would be huge, just putting out a minimal production could cause many of the exporters to us to increase their production levels and bring prices way down again. in anwar there are already several wells drilled, just hooking them up to pumps and oil pipelines is all that they would have to do to start with. light travels faster than sound, that's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak
