My shit flows down stream into my septic tank and then my leach field, all of which are properly maintained. Exactly... rolling skydiving equipment in a 15-30 year student loan isn't the best situation. 15-30 year student loans, especially private loans with variable interest rates, such enough financially when financing college. Thank you everyone for all of the input. It sound like every one agrees that the L series glass is worth the cost. Less agreement on the IS, but I think the better handheld shots, both at the DZ and on holiday, could justify the cost. The 70-200 F4L had a lot of reviews that claimed the optics were almost as good as the F2.8L 70-200 and half of the weight. Costs less too. Matt, Thank you for the feedback. I know this forum doesn't get a ton of traffic, so I appreciate the additional post. Good to hear that they hold up well, I think I would add the codura on my rear too. I am thinking about getting my TI rating for this season so the suit could do double duty. I wonder how many freefly suits Bevsuits actually puts out, they tend to focus on rw suits. I don't know if they would have the same expertise to tailor the suit for body type, weight, height, to get a consistent fall rate like some of the other suit makers would. That being said anything has to be better than my polycotton RW suit that i have been using as a freefly suit. And it will be half priced. I have my eye on the second lense in the line up. I almost jumped the gun on a lense without IS, thanks for the PM giving me the heads up that there is a IS and non IS variant. The ebay seller had both the IS and non IS product numbers in the item description. The lense has nothing but glowing reviews. And if I can expect it to last many many years it makes the extra image and build quality worth the price tag I think.

I got my Rebel XSi for taking pictures of friends in the air but I am starting to realize that I am missing out on a lot of awesome ground photos because the kit lense doesn't have much range. My knowledge of photography is pretty limited to point and shoot, or point and press tounge switch. What zoom range lense should I be looking for?
