  1. I have a new respect for Free Flyers, always had it but now realize it more. Part of the student program at my dropzone is two jumps doing free flying, forgive me if I get terminolgy wrong but they tried to show me sit flying. I never realized how hard it is to stay stable. My first jump I was stable for about 4 seconds then I started to tumble everywhere. Second one lasted longer but still went tumbling. Kept trying to use my arms (instructor got on me about that) then my legs kept getting pushed to the side. It was deffintly fun though. So close to A now.
  2. The reason I asked was because it was a helmet, if you get a hairline fracture in one it can render it usless for helmets that are rated for impacts. After seeing the explaination that skydiving helmets aren't really rated for impacts I realize it's fine.
  3. You're right, could have been a lot worse.
  4. Return the BOX or the helmet?! Guess I goofed, the helmet.
  5. Get right on that bashing. Kind of figured it's ok, just cringed when I saw the box.
  6. I ordered a Z1 from Paragear and when I recived it, the box had a lot of damage. Look at pictures to see. Would you return it if you recieved it like this? I don't see any visible damage to the helmet.

    Z1 IAS

I'm looking to buy a Z1 IAS and was wondering if anyone uses it and have any things to look out for. The other question on it, wich I will ask the intstructors at my dropzone also, is since I'm still in student status should I use this before getting my A license? I am off radio and 10 jumps away from finishing their AFF school.
