  1. it's just that when you hear and read some peoples deeply religeous quotes, i can't help but think they have been brainwashed by religeon can i ask you a couple of questions windcatcher? 1. what do you see as the main differences between what people believe when in a religeous "cult" and what people believe who just call themselves "strong christians" ? 2. if such strong religeous beliefs as yours are different to the brainwashing that people recieve in "cults" why are you then different to a brainwashed cult member ?

  6. i notice your signature says "god bless the troops" it's a pity cats can't carry M16 riffles, perhaps they would have a longer life span around you if they could
  7. i'm not anti-american troops, they are certainly doing a good job in a difficult situation, it's the leaders of the troops (american and english together) that have got it wrong a soldier doesn't have a say where he goes, it's the politicians who have made bad situations worse
  8. That is actually what I was talking about sort of. People might need to drive two smaller vehicles instead of one big one. However that might double the amount of cars. Not so fast. Your "commuter car" wouldn't exactly be a car but rather a max two person pod pretty much that ran on electric or some other clean fuel. You'd have your own highway lanes so you would not need to worry about being smushed by a big rig or SUV. Of course then there is the whole getting to the highway, using city streets, some higher up power will have to save you then. I think that there's a car in Europe that's pretty popular - dinky thing made by Swatch and one of the big Euro car manufacturers. Sounds like our commuter. You just drive it straight into a parallel parking spot and it fits - wheels at the corners, etc. http://www.usa.smart.com/brand/smartUSA.html
  9. dont you think that the "kill them all" attitude is going to get us all killed in WWIII though?
  10. you don't like the thread, fair enough.. i've no problem with that but we all have to creat an account at some point, just becasue i haven't given you any details yet doesn't mean i have to, or that i can't have a say does it? and lets be straight, this is the first time i've registered on this forum, BUT there is an age old saying "the only people who stay banned on a forum, are those that want to stay banned" so, if you're not able to use proxy servers, then may i suggest you spend 5 seconds reading up on them and then use them !!! no forum can keep you banned if you dont want to stay banned, its your fault you served out a ban
  11. you know, i applaud posts like this !!! there are less and less people supporting Americas invasion if iraq in this world, more and more people see it for what it really is, BUT you can't really blame the soldiers on the ground, it's the people who have put them in that situation that are to blame i know people won't like what i'm about to say next, but it is truly what i feel.... on 9/11 about 3000 people died yeah? in the great big scheme of things thats not a massively big deal. it's a big deal to those directly involved i'll grant that, but its only a couple of thousand or so... how many people died in Rhwanda? how many people die in the great Indian flood planes floods each year? how many people have been killed by starvation due to American sanctions around the world? many many more thousands than 9/11 so, just how much was Iraq down to the (unwinnable) war on terror, and how much is it down to Oil ? Are Americas leaders going to let thousands more of their people (soldiers) die to fight an unwinnable war just becasue a few thousand died...or are they going to let the $$$$$$$$$$$$ dictate as it always does and use the war on terror as a smoke screen to get to the Oil ? if America's leaders REALLY cared about lives, would Monsanto be able to do the deals they do all around the world in third world countries? Would they have stopped the genocide in Rhwanda? you tell me?
