I figured that would be the answer. And, yes, we do already have a link up to DZ.com. To avoid the advice that comes from whomever can login, I have put up a "Tips from the Pros" section where only those who know can submit. Yeah, I know the next question is how do you know who really knows? Well, I figured PD has a fairly good handle on things, so I'm harrasing those guys first, then I'm gonna harrase Germain, and then it's onto those skydivers that are dive engineers in World Records. That's in no particular order. I figured that skydivers wouldn't spend all that money to travel across the country (let alone the oceans) to be a part of a World Record, unless they knew someone that knew good practices was in charge. I could be way off, but that's where I'm starting. This can grow into whatever skydivers make of it, so post what you want to see up there. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

I have been working on this www.collegeskydiving.com website and wanted to make it a site that people can check for anything and everything they would need, or want, to know about skydiving. It's still just getting started, and there can be a lot more added. Post what you would want to see here ... assuming dropzone.com has all of your forum needs answered. There is also a page on there of weather links for any USPA dropzone so check that out. Go to the "DZ Weather" link in the menu. If you hate this post, don't be condescending ... just go search for boobies instead. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

As long as it doesn't taste anything like it did the first time around, I'm cool with having it again. Maybe you could take out all the original ingredients and replace them with new ones, or something like that. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

That was the driving idea behind www.collegeskydiving.com and it's been working really well so far. There is an email newsletter signup that people can subscribe to and it works really well. The system tracks everything so you don't have to rely on one person updating things. We are also working with the USPA and trying to get a college listing through them. We are also hosting virtual competitions so all college students can compete and submit videos. If you need webspace I can also set up a website for you at www.collegeskydiving.com/"your_school" if you wanted. You would have a login and track it yourself. We have a ton of webspace and want to help the schools anyway we can. Send a Private Message or email if you have any questions or suggestions. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

We have just started a big site to get all college clubs together. There is a lot of info about everything from starting a club, to maintaining a club, and a list of current and active clubs. www.collegeskydiving.com Let me know if you have any questions. Send a PM or something. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

That's awesome. I'll put your link up and when you guys update it, just send me the new one and I'll change it over. If you need any other club paperwork help, check the site for "Starting a Club" and "Maintaining a Club". I posted some paperwork and some Excel files for keeping track of equipment and everything else. The Excel Files update with the clock on your computer and give you a "days left" til maintenance is due or repacks. www.collegeskydiving.com There's more Excel files on the way, so keep checking back. Yeah. I don't know if this is a phone specific thing or OS specific, but Windows 5 is way better with the one hand operation thing. I can scroll through any program, pictures, or whatever without the stylus. It's takes getting used to, but it's a good set up once you get the hang of it. I can say that Internet Explorer brings up the text based or mobile versions of webpages, so if you want to see the pages as they actually are, you will have to use a pdf browser or another internet browser. My phone came with Picsel Browser but I don't know if it's a part of the Windows 5 set up. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

I have it and I love it. I am with verizon and have the Samsung i730 and Windows mobile runs really well. If you do find complaints from people, they probably don't realize that a pda phone works more like a computer, so you should turn it off and back on again to reset it. You can't just leave it on indefinitly like a regular cell phone. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

Do you remember when there were two dads that got in a huge fight hitting eachother at a little league game? Well, they should have been hitting the kids, the kids are the ones that lost the game! Ok, I stole that joke from The Onion, if you haven't read that paper, then you should look it up. http://www.theonion.com/content/ Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

That's the cool thing about this site. If you jump and you are in school, that counts as a school club. If you want a website, we can do one at collegeskydiving.com/"your_school" or something. Just let me know. Every college student out there can compete in Collegiates and in our Virtual Competition. If you need a team, students from different schools can be on the same team too. Email me and let me know if you want to get this going: collegeskydiving@gmail.com. This also jumpstarts you into having an official club because I can get you all the paperwork, and when you go to your school for funding, you'll be able to show them a good bit of work. Glad to see this is getting talked about. This is definitely a site for everyone to get involved. We will have a lot of cool stuff on the way, I promise. Always let me know about new ideas too, this is a new project and it's growing really fast, so keep the ideas coming in. You guys are awesome! Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com

That was definitly a weekend to remember (if I could remember it). This is the new SDA pictures site and it has so much space that we will never fill it up, so everone is welcome to post whatever pictures they want there. Here's the deal: -Go to http://www.sdapix.com and click on the "Register" link in the gallery and Register. -I'll get an automated email and log in and activate your account. -After I activate it, I'll send you an email and you can log back in. -The gallery will create your own album that you can upload to. You can upload as many pictures as you want. You can also post a link to pictures you have elsewhere. And, you can click "edit link" and upload a custon picture for the thumbnail. Everyone is welcome to use this so go ahead and sign up. If you have any questions email me at benblee@gmail.com. Ben Lee www.CollegeSkydiving.com
