  1. I just recently learned how to play, and it does to take patience. My best way to learn and get comfortable recognizing a hand was just practicing on computer games till I felt just a little competent. Also it helps to play with 1 other person open hands (showing all cards) and let them explain why you might want to fold or bet. The psychology of the betting is was makes it interesting to me, although I don't know that I have much of a poker face yet. I learned to play tight and only with good hands, I suck at bluffing
  2. They stopped that incentive years ago I know I got 6 pairs in 4 months that way in 98 when I worked at Sunglass Hut but they stopped it soon after. It did seem a bit excessive
  3. I am thankful for the obvious things, my health, supportive family, and my wonderful friends. These last couple of years particularly I am thankful for the lessons in life that have come in a bittersweet way. For souls who have touched mine and for souls I have touched. For demons I have run from, only to run smack into them in my adult life. For forgiveness of those who did their best and the freedom and lightness of soul I have found in my own heart. Life is an amazing adventure and each day is a day I am thankful for and wish to embrace with the hope of a innocent child.

  11. E:60 (ESPN's version of 60 minutes) will be airing the Mixed Flight Project, recently filmed in Perris Valley. The Mixed Flight Project involves two highly skilled wingsuit pilots (Corliss & Rigby) proxy flying parallel to the worlds smallest canopy piloted by Cani. ESPN will be featuring interviews with each jumper as well as a more in depth look at Corliss's career and planned wingsuit landing project in the future.

  16. 1. No, I left my ex husband for this very reason 2. No, occasionally an important date will be forgotten but to entirely space out on EVERY important date does not communicate love. 3. No, hasn't ever really been an issue 4. No, again hasn't really been an issue and if it happened, communication would go a long way
  17. :2:1 Congrats on joining the S.L.U.T.S! Good to see Bonnie is busy recruiting I attached a pic of the founding S.L.U.T.S (Kelly, myself, and Bonnie) from only two months ago...I can't wait to see yours Was only at the dz for part of sunday but managed to make a super fun sit fly train (at least on exit) with a new beautiful friend, Kalish and a productive transitional solo sit fly. Also, in the spirit of the election year, I voted for our USPA elections for the very first time. It helped that Eli Thompson was campaigning in the creeper area or else I would have ignored my mail in ballot in my Nov parachutist
