    When in Florida go to Palatka. Years ago I wandered in for the first time, trying to get a jump in before they closed for the day. I was working a gig in Jacksonville, and boogied down there as fast as I could, as they said the weather was good and they were jumping. When I got there, they said I was too late; jumping was done, and they had put the 182 away. They pulled it back out and the staff and I did a four-way. Gotta love em.

    I Killed Elvis! I was at my cabin in Lake Vermilion MN that summer with my girlfriend, Diana. Stories of his generosity had made the media for years. . . "Oh Elvis, my husband left me and I have 13 chillen'" and he'd send them a Cadillac, or "Oh Elvis, my pappy broke his foot" and he'd send them a Cadillac. So Diana and I wrote out this huge tale of woe, and decided to send it to him. . . . . . by the time the sun rose the next morning, he was a deader. It was me, and I humbly apologize for killing him.     Thank God I'm not the only crazy one here. When I was four or five years old, some adults asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. They were expecting the usual 'nurse', 'fireman', 'ballerina' (hey, a combo of those three would be pretty cool in retrospect) ... but I said "A furnace." They all laughed hysterically and asked why, and I said so that I could keep people warm. Now? Aw, hell, I guess it would have to be a wealthy person who could just bum around the world. With a cool guy. And skydive. From my own plane. Which takes off from the deck of my yacht. And have lots of sex.     In no particular order: My first Bell 412 sunset jump (topless) My first Muff Dive (er, also topless) "Magic Carpet Ride" (Johnny Gates, organizer) "Double Tube" (Tandem Terry, organizer) My first high altitude w/my boyfriend Alan (thanks Mike Mullins) A two-way with Alan with a rainbow in the sky When Billy Weber taught me how to turn on my index finger as the axis The "Millennium Jump" on New Years at midnight @ Gold Coast Skydivers (thanks Mike Igo) A two-way with Chris Irwin at Titusville (—more points than I could count with vertical transitions, etc. I only had jumps in the low hundreds at the time.) A bi-plane bandit jump over the ocean in Hawaii The first time I flew a canopy through a cloud The first time I was in a 4-way in a cloud The fact that I actually survived several jumps with Peanut And being flung like a booger out of the Jet.     Hey there, MagicGuy~~ You most likely have iPhoto already installed on your Mac. Go ahead and crop picture how you want it, then go to File/Export. You can leave the format as original (which is a JPEG), or pull down to JPG (which is a JPEG, lol). Click on the radio button that says "Scale images no larger than:" and mess with the size. You may have some trial and error to see what works for you. I used to teach classes on resolution and if you REALLY want to know more info than "mess with the size", I'd be happy to fill you in, ad nauseum.     How to Go to Hell: From Kalamazoo, head East on I-94 towards Detroit. It will only take you 15 minutes to reach Climax, and about another hour to go to Hell. (love the climax insurance at the top, hee hee. . . wonder how THAT works??)

    A Filipino beer called San Miguel. It was prevalent in Korea, Japan, Okinawa and the Philippines of course. Rumor said that there was formaldehyde used in the brewing process, and judging by the debilitating head pounding gut wrenching hangover the next day, I'd have to agree. There was a bar in the jungle in Diego Garcia, and the silly military lads there drank it in a fashion called "guttering".     Hi all, I am trying to sell a Hawkeye camera helmet locally (or via web, I don't really care either way)— left side mount w/hardware, and have NO idea what the price range is. I don't want to under-charge, and I don't want to rip anybody off. I've looked on the internet, and have surmised that it has been discontinued. Therefore, I have no reference regarding the original price, or used resale price. It only has about 5 to 10 jumps on it. Any guesstimates of what I should be asking?
