So What's Your Favorite Fast Food Restaurant?
boyd38off replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
I gotta put in another vote for Chipotle.... Love it. 1000 calories in a bling wrapper. What's better?! Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out and shouting, ".... holy crap....what a ride!" -

boyd38off replied to angrypeppers's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Congrats on level 1! Sounds like it went great. Brady's an awesome instructor. Perfect weather today... glad you got to enjoy it from the proper vantage point! No more Relative Workshop...
boyd38off replied to skydiverek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You GOTTA kep the "Workshop" part of the name! It sounds like there's a bunch of leading-edge but anti-corporate Yodas of skydiving toiling night and day to ensure that nothing better can be built. It sounds like constant work and rework... something that definitely influenced my purchase of a Vector 3. The "Relative" part definitely sounds good and interesting, and was the first name I recognized in skydiving... because I had no idea what it meant at first. I could see some updating to 'Relative', but gotta keep 'Workshop'... GOTTA! Got tunnel? Just a few minutes in the tunnel can give you a huge increase in your stability in the sky, and you don't have to concentrate on saving your life... Anyone else having trouble getting ahold of Matter Clothing? I ordered some freefly pants 3 months ago with a 2-month delivery. I got an e-mail saying that they were "scheduled for dispatch" in early August. Now I can't get a return call or e-mail. Any suggestions? My friend and I teach powered paragliding. We fly right from the dropzone. Since the weather's better for powered paragliding early, we usually swoop the pond before any jumpers. After we're done flying, we head over to the dz and jump the rest of the day. Best of both worlds! our website is Whitehawk PPG Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out and shouting, ".... holy crap....what a ride!"

Is there anything almost as good as skydiving?
boyd38off replied to skyejumper's topic in The Bonfire
My vote is for powered paragliding. For me, I gotta do both. Check it out on our website: www.whitehawkppg.com It's like canopy flight, but you can go UP, and you can fly ANYWHERE! I take off from my back yard sometimes...
