  1. They funded it by telling the neo-cons in congress that there were Muslin Terrorists on the moon.
  2. You have a point there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Foreign_Holders_of_United_States_Treasury_Securities-percent_share.gif And we are the most indebted in the world: http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/eco_deb_ext-economy-debt-external So our economic model is the best, eh? Nice try, I don't think I'll take a bite of that shit sandwich. No, the gov does, but you're right, I don't. Tell Reagan, Bush, Bush. See, you blow your whole argument when you reffuse to address 2/3 of the total debt was incurred under them and they also left a mess that so far 1 Dem has mopped up, now the 2nd is working on this one. You have no credibility iff you don't blame where it's due. Which explains the biggest debtor president of all time, GWB fucked it all up at 5T debt addition while receiving a surplus and stable debt figure. Ron is right, Rush is right, Justin is right.... I see an entire radio stationher that could rival Limbaugh / Hannity; which with the cheap plugs, will ya. Do you mean, 'In each hand you have 1 jug; which do you throw?' - OR - You have 2 jugs, 1 in each hand; which do you throw?' I would throw the one that would retroactively wake up the idiots who voted for Reagan.
  3. It's nice to see that someone can objectively see the elements in play in stead of worrying about what news source is reporting the facts of the math. Yes, but it's also nice to see yet another neo-con post in a Spender -In- Chief Obama's Blank Check! thread and fail to state what he shoukld do. And I have the bad math? As opposed to your non-math. Watch out! Ron is lurking for spellijng errors.... oh wait, not in neo-cons, play on thru
  4. When I think of Lucky, I think of MSNBC. And....? Simple arithmetic is hard to follow eh? Yea but I don't post MSNBC and ask you to believe it as wholly credible. There's your math.
  5. 1. STOP SPENDING SO MUCH FUCKING MONEY. There is no money. We were out of money 12 trillion dollars ago. It's just digging the hole that much deeper, and that's not even considering the inflationary consequences. The predictable oddity is that 2/3 of the debt occurred under the last 3 R presidents, yet you and yours clammers about the spendy left . Again; predictable. 3. STOP CREATING MORAL HAZARD THEN TRYING TO REGULATE THE INHERENT PROBLEMS AWAY. Don't pressure banks into giving people mortgages for which they wouldn't otherwise qualify, supply them with cheap, easy credit, and then try to regulate them into not taking advantage of it. Says the neo-con who's party is almost wholly responsible for the debt. How bout you, let's hear your plan if you were pres on Jan 20, 2009. I don't expect an answer, esp not a comprehensive one.
  6. Great, now tell me what Obama / congress should do and quit wavering and complaining. We could forecast this brilliance as Obama was elected. How is that 2/3 of the debt occurred under Reagan, Bush, Bush, yet Obama inherited the 2nd worst US economy ever and he's a spender? Again, you have given us no Justin Plan, just whine and cheese. WHAT THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO WITH ALL OF THE EXISTING PROBLEMS? - Bank industry on the edge of total collapse. - Auto industry on the edge of total collapse. - States billions in teh red each - Tax revenues to incredible lows - Unemployment freefalling - Stock market free-falling - GDP: last 4 of 5 quarters negative (first time since GD) - And probably more..... So now tell me what you do with this and get your finger out of my asshole. I'm sick of the neo-cons whining; shit me a plan CONSIDERING ALL OF THESE ELEMENTS. That isn't an Obama issue, that is a US issue. We have been Imperialists since WWII. I agree with you, but don't put that on Obama. How is Obama doing that or planning to do that? Furthermore, who has in the past pressured that and under what law? Right, this is a turd from Limbaugh?hannity. The banks don't feel pressure from the US, vice versa. That's all great and utopian, but here, I'll snap my fingers and you can wakeup in the 21st century....ready.....SNAP! Ok, the question I asked was to take the current mess as Obama inherited and explain, piece by piece what you would do, how you fund it or if you would just let it flop and what the consequence(s) would be.
  7. No, the Republicans moved past that in 1865 and 1964 - too bad you Democrats can't. W/o a doubt, the liberal Republicans of 1860 moved us past that, as for 1964, it wasn't the R's vs the D's, it was more the Dirty South vs the north. But this isn't the issue in this thread, it's about the general foundation as we became a nation where there were no Dems or Repubs at that time by party.
  8. You get EXTREME tax breaks on the interest. As well, you can then roll your car, boat and other debt into it and writeoff the int on that too. Please. Yea, $95 the first year and it goes up a little after that. Or encourage you to buy ins...you know, to be personally responsible as you advocate. Yes, a healthy society that won't fall onto the state as a liability due to no HC ins. Yes, that's the agenda. HUH?
  9. ??????????? Please explain and give an example of this. I own a home and it changes nothing on my taxes. Then your taxman sucks! I hope you're still not going 1040EZ with a house mortgage writeoff. Go long form, baby. Now there are circumstances where if you buy a really cheap condo or you pay for it cash that you won't have the writeoff, but that includes a minority of people.
  10. In fact the country is far healthier economically under higher taxes than under low taxes.
  11. Taxes are imposed by force. Would you like to try again? Guess who's enforcing this mandate? Yea. You will be fined, I think the first year is $95. If you're indigent, it's all free. If you won't put out the ins cost then you put out the $95. See, if you don;t buy ins and you get critically injured, you become a ward of the state, so how is that fair? The gov power has to be determined. They can do what they want, I thought you would have figured that out by now. And then we'll have ..... cat jugling; that will demark the end of society as we know it. Yea, next thing you know they will force young men to fight a political war.....oh wait, they've done that. If we can live thru the Viet Nams of the era, I think we can live thru $95 fines. If we can live thru a bastardized so-called war that has cost $1T and mounting, I think we can live thru HC reform....let's keep this in perspective. - Revolutionary War - Civil War - Civil rights era - VN - Korea - GWB - Hoover - Great Depression - I could go on all day ....point is, if we can live thru all the above disasters, how is it HC is gonna take us down? Right, the sky really isn't falling. Uh oh, Ron is right, Rush is right.... I think I see a new radio phenom being born. Well there is a point. We are irrevocably fucked financially thx to 2 losers: Reagan and GWB. We will never see the bottom of this debt but that might not be a bad thing. Yesterday we were 1 USD to 1.05 CAD (Canadian dollar), if we were to fall to 20 cents, 30 cents below them, look at teh value of of stuff. As we fell a dime below Canda's currency under Bush, Canadians were comming down here for the exchgange. Most of our products are real quality, but pricey, so a dead dollar could make us strong and China weaker, which is why they keep propping our dollar up as it tries to fall via loans. Really? Then explain how > 2/3 of the total debt occurred under Reagan, Bush, Bush. Are you saying these guys weren't forward-looking? Say it isn't so . Actually GHWB was, he just followed that pig, Reagan. He did what he could and I don't attribute the debt gain under GHWB or Clinton to anyone but Reagan; it took then 12 years to tame his mess. They did and then the US voters had a brainfart and elected Reagan's clone, only difference is he isn't wearing diapers. Watch out, Ron is lurking for spelling errors; he's deadly sharp; we call him the back peddler....oh wait, you seem to be conservative, you should be OK. Anyway, I encourage everyone to do what you say and to also review history as with the Great Depression, Reagn / GWB tax cuts, how the debt has been accumulated, etc. Hey, the 1980, 1984, 2000 and 2004 elections are over, get over it. Yea you handicapped freeloaders; get the fuck out of your wheelchairs - fakers. And you over there, 20 YO couple with 2 kids; do you really need HC for those kids - they look healthy to me. And you, middle-aged lady, so what about your pre-existing diabetes, hey, the ins co didn't give it to you, why do you want them to pay for it? Right now people want to be healthy and to have jobs. No one is pushing for free breast augmentations, NO ONE I'VE READ. As we've entrusted corporations to extend the nipple, they've doneso long enough to bilk the country dry via Reagan/GWB, so the gov tit is dry to them. Corps are not about to help the people after they've decimated the gov tit, so the gov has to dig a little deeper to bring the people out. Do you have an understanding of the Great Depression? Did corps help us, did tax cuts help us? No, the gov did as they virtually trippled taxes and redistributed. If we go your way, we relly are done unless intervention is realized. Maybe your crowd says that but tax increases don't affect the MC and poor. Really, they only affect the top 20% or so. We were in 1980, 84, 2000, 2004. As that is when the country tanked. Care to dispute that? Yea, they love lending us money they will never again see
  12. Uh, we would never tear a page out of your book. BTW, did you hear the latest about the death squads?
  13. Unfortunately, so have the House and Senate +1
  14. I agree, but I like my torts teh way they are now. If we virtually eliminate civil suits with malpractice, etc., the level of care and concern could drop. The fiduciary standard of civil obedience is what makes US care good for those lucky enough to have it. I say leave the pop torts alone.
  15. I don't think any. However, as I recall a number of workers for both the Capitol and White House were. Here we go; http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/12/02/slaves.white.house/index.html Close enough, that was my point; slaves were used to build these monikers of freedom and liberty. Now (and always) the nutty right wants to tie the foundation of these principles to freedom and liberty. They either have a short memory or they're just nuts.
  16. They were founded on the Declaration of Indep and the US Const. Not saying they were neccessarily lovely and complete docs or that we've followed them, but that is what were founded upon as we became an 'organized' nation. Of course the Civil War was the last big tweek to bring it to completion; still haven't followed the original docs.
  17. Yet more fucking proof you don't listen to him and you get your opinions regarding him elsewhere. You should really stop commenting about him. You keep proving you don't have any idea about him or what he says or stands for Or, pick a different site to get your opinions (made for you) about him. Either will work I hate to plagiarize from your brother, but I can't help it. All I have acknowledged is that you have become irrelevant a LONE time ago... Like the insane man on the corner yelling and insulting people that disagree with his crazy rants.
  18. I wonder how many slaves were use to errect/build the Wash Monument that declares freedom and liberty / 10 Commandments? I wonder if women voted upon its construction / errection? Yea, the foundation of this country including many of its framers is covered in blood from rape and murder, ethnocentricity, etc. But I could give you a few names, but they will probably just pipe in in a few if ya wait
  19. Wow. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Dude, like Andy said and I proposed, either unblock PM's or just quit addressing me; it's trashing teh forum. Do you give a fuck about others here? They don't enjoy it. Show a little respect to this place. If you quit addressing him(whoever him is) he has nothing to reply to. You don't need to get in the last word just because you think your pride will be hurt. No reason to defend your pride on some obscure website. Stop posting and it ends. Simple. I await your response. Right, take shot after another. Not gonn happen, I sincerely believe this shit trashes the forum, so I'm being the adult and suggesting we quit. If not, I tried.
  20. Wow. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Dude, like Andy said and I proposed, either unblock PM's or just quit addressing me; it's trashing teh forum. Do you give a fuck about others here? They don't enjoy it. Show a little respect to this place. Oh, I have respect for the forum, that is not a problem. I just find it very amusing that you harp and harp about one typo on my part and then post a reply like that. Of course, if showing respect means agreeing with your BS, then all bets are off. If you have respect for the forum, show it. Several members including Bill have tried to stop the BS. Let's quit corresponding in the forum and take it to PM or just stop altogether. I really get nothing from it, I would rather talk substance with people. If you keep running it I'm not going to ignore it. Try to help yourself while you show respect to others and quit acknowledging me, 1st, 2nd or 3rd party - or PM me. Your actions will show your respect for this forum or lack thereof.
  21. Still looks good compared with 2008. Agreed.... I'm not stating anything just giving the information. I will say now though that jumping the gun on this "recovery" is not such a good idea. There is a lot of bad still coming our way. And alot more bad being created by the government Yea, good thing we have corporations to save us. As opposed to more gov't handouts? Absolutely. I agree, we should stop handing out corporate welfare to billionaires; at least we're on the same page. Good - we can start with healthcare then. No, that's a hand up to the poor.
  22. Yeah, that tends to happen when you gut manfacturing and stuff...you know, the people who actually MAKE/SELL stuff? And when you mismanage the overall economy / shift the money to the top to sit. Of course the trend of shipping out jobs has been going for decades, but under Clinton we had success, I guess it was his tax increases and military cuts, huh?

There is a lot of bad still coming our way. And alot more bad being created by the government You are entitled to your opinion, but recall that the worst economic fiasco in recent history started under the Bush administration who for months were in denial that there was a problem at all. The Bush administration then initiated the costly bailouts. wrong, the housing bubble (giving loans to people that did not deserve them) was started under carter and continued under clinton and blew up while bush was in office and the democrats (and some reb's) wrote the massive spending bills the last 3 years. I guess you still have not undewrstood what has been posted the last year. I have read and understood and I don't have a degree, maybe degrees make people less smart? Either way Kall and Mark the "costly" spending has been kicked in to over drive. I think we can all agree on that even if you think it is necessary Kall it still is fact that the spending happening at a much faster pace. Even out pacing that devil Bush. That is why I keep saying that gov spending needs to be cut by 20%(20 percent from what Bush was spending). nobody wants the programs that may affect them to be cut but we have no choice. Government is larger than the american people can support and unless we reduce gov spending and pay down the debt we will end up like the countries in south america and the middle east. Hey, I've got an idea: since we spend 8 times that of #2 on the military, let's start there. Oh, you don't wnat that, huh?

Becuase GWB left a turd, you want Obama to do nothing? I stall have yet to hear the alternative to the stimulus bill. And I never will hear the better option.
