  1. So you think the dollar and economy will never rebound? The slowing growth of the economy is just a small speed bump in the long term. You're being so short sighted! We've got hundreds of thousands of people in this country who make it their full time work to watch the dollar and the economy. They spend their life analyzing every hourly up or down and how to fix it and grow it. Historically our country and race of people have only become more advanced and of an improved quality of living. One can bitch about out poor but "our poor" are filthy rich compared to the poor of a third world country or of an American in the 1800's. When was the last time an American starved to death from poverty in this country? Those below the "poverty" line in this country still have televisions, microwaves, and cars. As a nation, all we do is grow: http://stockcharts.com/charts/historical/ 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  2. Whatever's been going on with the dollar, it really looks like it's been coming back over the last few months. http://quotes.ino.com/chart/?s=NYBOT_DX 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  3. Have to say, I've read this and that about how bad this is or how bad that is in newspapers etc, but in all reality, the only thing that I've felt different over the years is gas and jump prices as a result. I still go out to restaurants and buy small personal luxuries like, beer, CDs/DVDs, etc. In my day to day life, I haven't noticed a difference. Makes me wonder how much of it all is just media hype. I know people selling houses are heaving a hard time or are losing their homes, they did that to themselves. So where does this "terrible economy" affect me? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  8. I think we need to bring back being acceptable to make fun of retardation. It's bullshit that the word "retard" has become blasphemy. It only means having an IQ of less than 70. It irritates me to hear people around me try and tip toe around the word. If I have to hear one more coworker use the phrase "special needs people" I'm going to put on a helmet and run around flailing my arms shouting gibberish. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  10. Apparently data is pouring in so fast that their computer networkd are having a hard time keeping up with it. Looks like the LHC is ahead of its time as far as our computing technology goes! Whoever these window lickers are who think that the LHC is going to destroy the world really need to either shoot themselves or go back to school. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  14. I'm pretty sure the trade agreements are opening up lines for selling civilian power plant nuclear materials only. The deal also includes opening up a bunch of India nuclear sited to IAEA inspections. They have been pretty armed for a while in nuclear weapons though and have been pretty cranky with the Pakistanis (who also have the bomb). Not sure what the statement, "India isn't anywhere close to Iran or North Korea" means. India is pretty smack in the middle between the two geographically, all three share the same continent. By all means India is much more technologically advanced then the two combined. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  15. Yeah they've bought a couple of old Russian ballistic nuclear subs which will hold a couple of warheads and have a few new Indian models being built for themselves too! So is having an anti-proliferation treaty pointless? The UN has sanctioned North Korea and Iran for violating it, but India refuses to be involved for years and we just shrug and sell them whatever they want? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  16. Many times trying to contact someone from a DZ via the DZ website can yield no results. These places usually have the emails go to the DZO who doesn't care to respond to fun jumpers. Sometimes the email isn't checked often since most people call. I've found the most success in trying to contact the fun jumpers from the dropzone instead of the official dropzone email address. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  17. I've been reading up on some of the recent news on talks to sell India some nucear materials, example: http://in.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idINL86794620080908 I'm a bit confused, maybe someone can explain to me... for years India has been banned from deals with the Nuclear Suppliers Group because it is one of the overy few country in the world to not sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. So instead of having them join the treaty, we create a waiver in order to sell them nuclear materials? What's the point of the treaty if we are just going to make waivers for those who don't want to comply? Any of you more educated folks care to explain? 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  19. Try this sometime as a way to train your eyes. Plan to sink it a bit low on your belly for a jump. Looks straight down at the ground but pay attention to what you pick up in your peripherals. Somewhere between 2,000 and 2,500 you'll stop being able to see the horizon or sky in your peripherals and will only see Earth. This is usually why ground rush starts to kick in. It is a good visual cue to when you're getting low but it only works when you're looking straight down. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

  23. We watched a student at our dropzone open up under canopy on their first jump and start spiralling. Many radio commands were shouted to stop the spiral that seemed to fall on deaf ears. Almost every command was shouted into the radio. Finally at 600 ft the instructor shouted, "turn left!" and the student stopped the spiral. When he got to the ground we asked him what the hell happend. He claims that the canopy began spinning when he flared for controllability check. He said he didn't know what to do so he kept holding the flare and hoped it would come out of the spin. He said he heard every radio command. When he heard us shout, "turn left!" he said he looked up and realized that the entire time he had been holding one toggle and thought he had both of them. The other students in the FJC did great. The instructor told him that skydiving may not be the sport for him. If you were an instructor, would you ask that guy to come back? He was seconds away from death because he believed he had both toggles for 4,000ft. What was the student going to do next? Not everyone can be a skydiver. Some people just don't have the mental aptitude. An instructor needs to be able to know when this is the case. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
  24. Well I'm not going to jump on the band wagon until I hear the other side of the story. You never know what happend on the ground. 108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook
