    well it was just a solo but it didnt matter. Partly cloudy right at sunset. Head down facing the west. It was the most amazing sunset jump i have done to date. I even had to end up pulling high to enjoy the view. around 4 thousand. The sun dissapeared below the horizon at about 500 ft. Seriously, nearly brought a tear to my eye. Oh and to top it off it was a FREE jump ok pretty much pointless post but i couldnt stop thinking about this jump. I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

    a few times i was tempted to open high and hit up a sneak a toke under canopy. Now that im in the army the ganja is not part of my life anymore. It isnt worth it. when they treat people pissing hot on drug test like child molesting murders, i think its best to stay away.     400 jumps on a 150??? BLAH! I have a 165 that I have been jumping pretty much since I have been off student status. This thing is getting VERY boering for me. High wind, light wind, downwind in light wind conditions (5-10 mph), hook turns....yeah i can pretty much do all that in my sleep with my 165. Iv also jumped a 150 several times and have felt no difference. Im going to try out a stiletto 135 either next weekend or the weekend after. So, hopefully I wont feel like napping when its time to land as I usually feel like doing on my current canopie. I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

    yes now that you mention it i had a lot! I arched a little harder and it somewhat went away. I did have some controll over turns to. I tried to track but i dont think we went to far.     here in fort polk la we had a descent thunder storm today. A bolt of lightining hit really close to our company hq. The thunder was the loudest i have ever heard. It made my ears ring. We saw the smoke from were it hit less than 1/4 mile away. Definatly the closest iv been to a lightining strike.     Thats a great way to put it. Now that i think about it, all the crap that i have to go through during the week is nowhere near on my mind when im about to exit. Also, there is nothing like the serene feeling of being on that jump where everything seems to work out topped off by a nice smooth opening and landing. Sometimes i get in such a zone i dont even hear the wind. I couldn't imagine living life without jumping. Even if im a low time "weekend warrior" thats better than nothing at all.

    i say tandem too, Not just because of the over load thing. He might do it and decide it isnt something he really wants to keep doing?? why anyone wouldnt is beyond me but i know people that loved it but had enough with one tandem.
