I am currently a senior in college and have work now, which I absolutely love! I am trying to figure out exactly where I'm going to go after college (January 2009). I'll have a marketing degree, french minor, and a type 2 Wildland firefighting certification. Lately I've been googling businesses and compiling a list of "cool jobs" and sending my resume way in advance... as I do not graduate until December and can't leave Florida until then. I'm willing to work/live overseas, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, California, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. If you know of a fun company or a cool job that hasn't come to my mind yet, feel free to post here! I'm looking into eco-tourism jobs, surf charters, Clif Bar, Cesna, and other various companies. I was told I was hurt the most, we all went to the hospital and they the other victims sent word to my room through the nurses to make sure I was ok. I sent the vibes back as much as I could through my concussion and broken bone. But everybody is doing ok to my knowledge, thank god!! thank you for the uplifting post... a police report was made, still going on, i thought it was clear, but apparently it wasn't. Insurance will prob. go up, but they are covering it.... accidents happen. I wasn't under any influence, I was at work just trying to cross the road, thinking another car was turning and it was all good. Well, I'm single. Where do I find these wonderful, cute, 30 year olds who want to pay for my jumps and medical bills..... who aren't players. nope, wasn't on a cell phone... i thought a car was turning right, b/c they had a blinker on but they didn't... i crossed int. speedway thinking it was clear and i got pounded, then spun into another car... 8 weeks no work and no driving.... looking into moving to a warm city i can walk everywhere after graduation.... any suggestions? thank you everyone!!!! it's sucky but now i'll get really good with my left hand and become ambidexterous (sp?)!! haven't seen an ortho yet.... when i get more word i'll let you know what's up!! and a huge thanks to karen today who calmed me down amongst my tears. i love you. i am one lucky girl.... my car is completely totalled from the front and rear..... good karma came... i'm alive with only a broken collar bone and mild concussion. How close is the dz to the training center? I'm either going to find a camping ground near the training center, but if the dz is close, I'll just camp there! I need to work out a few things.... I'm trying to take every fire course I can related to Helitack. I'm currently in Air Ops right now. I need to take Helicopter Crewmember, Helicopter Manager.... and then I'll find out what to do from there. I've already taken my 45 lb. pack test and taken L-100, I-200, S-130, and S-190.
