    I did a high altitude hop n' pop from 9,000 ft. due to haze and smoke way up high. After I deployed (I was not perfectly stable) the risers twisted around my neck. I was wearing a big helmet and had trouble getting my head through. After a few tries I was able to get my head through the risers and fly my canopy. There was only one twist which was around my neck. Was this weird opening due to bad packing or poor body position? Secondly, if this happens again.... should I cut away with a chance of my neck being ripped or should I just try to take the helmet off?     I've dreamed this a lot I run and jump on the plane not geared up. I end up jumping off the plane right before take off to put my gear on and the plane waits. I get back on, we get up in the air, I realize that I don't have an altimeter on and I was doing a solo. I jump out pull and some unkown height... but I get pushed over water under canopy.     taking over my life. Do you ever find yourself having 3 hours of extra time and driving an hour to a dz to get a jump in right before you make it to work. Or when you're sitting there, thinking about a new move you're going to try in the air.... Or pause a bit too long by the "trailor for sale signs" at the dz...... I've been in this sport for 7 months and I am majorly obsessed with it. Does this wear off?? Will I constantly be excited about skydiving and try to figure out a way to live closer to the dz?     I'm working all day friday and working early saturday morning......... which gives me sat. afternoon and all day sunday. I went to Titusville last weekend and really liked the vibe, landing area, and people there.... so I might go back (I love the 6 minute ride to altitude!).... or stick with deland or drive out to the hills.     She is always has a ready ear for some crazy story that happened over the weekend, she will drive over in the middle of the night to go for a drive when I need a shoulder to cry on.
