How much credit card debt are you in from skydiving? I come in just under the $5k mark .
-
Mmmm!!! Tasty!!! You only live once, so why not??

:1:1 I did my jump at Elsinore. I'm in CA for a family reunion and took my cousin out to do a tandem. I made a fun 2-way coached jump with Matt and got a few things signed off on my A.

LOL, I'll take my problem over yours. I really don't have to worry about her scratching/biting people, they deserve it if she does, and she can take care of herself outside

A little of both. She did it again last night . I did enjoy telling my neighbor that I watched my pussy lick his .

Thanks for all the useful 411 on energy conservation, hopefully will help my next power bill. I'm in an upstairs SWW corner apartment and the sun just kills me in the afternoon. I just hung some heavy vinyl roller-shades over my windows to draw during the day (under mini-blinds), and it's already cooler. The apt came with 2 ceiling fans, the one over my bed runs full-blast at night. I bought a programmable thermostat a while back that's yet to be programmed. Probably the biggest factor to my big power bill is I finally got maintenance to fix my a/c last month. It actually blows cold now, so I run it a lot more. Guess I should turn the temp up some . They came 4 or 5 times, made sure it was somewhat cooling the air, then ok'd it . It took me buying an a/c guage, checking the charge myself, quizzing the maintenance guy what it should be, then raising hell with management .

I know, I could jump more if I lived in a less expensive place . Lease comes up in November tho

Damn!! Do you hang meat in the closets??

I think her picture's in the dictionary next to territorial. I know of 3 other cats near my apartment and she lashes out at all of them.
-
Sweet!!! Doesn't that same cat shoot lasers out of its eyes?
-
It's tough to turn any a/c too high.
-
My cat puzzles me. She's not afraid of anyone, lets anyone pick up and pet her. I brought her in a while ago b/c she was kicking the neighbor cat's ass who's twice her size. She's great around people but seriously vicious with other cats.

LOL . I spent 2 summers in San Angelo, TX. Summer of '04 I don't think the mercury ever dropped below 85 at night, often up to 105 in the day. The dry heat I don't mind, this 90 with 85% humidity is bullshit!!!
-
I was thinking of a more beefy unit that blows colder and thus runs less. The 1.5-ton units they built this complex with just don't do the job and thus rarely shut off.
-
Or same size with twice as much a/c
-
I did that a few months ago, but too damn hot for that now. I'm seeing damn-near 90 every day .
-
I set the thing at 79 in the day and 74 at night. It loses ground to about 82 by the time I get home around 4 or 5 . I hung some roller-shades on my south-facing windows, hopefully that'll help.

I just got my power-bill, $140 for my 900 sq-ft 1/1 apartment . Florida's too f'ing hot!!!
-
I'll take polar any day. Get some extra blankets from the desk and ice'r'up!!!
-
No shit? Tandem $150 AFF $1290 2 extra AFF jumps $380 Scott Miller class $155
-
I do 140-145 in shorts and a t-shirt, not really thinking about my arch. Tracking slows me to about 115-120.
-
Oh that's hot!! Love to watch

0:0:0 Went to the DZ, but it was too windy for me. I did take my rig, open it up, and take some lessons in packing. I sweat all over my canopy for a couple hours, then gave up and tossed my open rig into my trunk .

LOL This reminds me of an icy-stairs incident that still sometimes hurts. I was stationed in Denver 3 years ago and when it started getting cold, I found out the hard way that the concrete stairs got icy at night. I slipped on the icy sidewalk and fell on my butt about 5 feet from the stairs, then got another 4 or 5 poundings to my tailbone before I got a good grip on the rail. My whole butt and left hip turned all kinds of nifty colors. I laid halfway down the stairs holding the rail for about 5 minutes until a friend of mine helped me back inside
