I said it before and I'll say it again. This has been a damn quiet hurricane season. My first year in Florida and I'd hoped to have seen some real wrath of God type weather by now .

It all sounds so tasty!! Orange chicken, filet mignon, venison steaks, even more turkey. I started frying my bacon and it occurred to me I had all the ingredients to make my rendition of Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana. It's my favorite soup, tho I tend to make it a little differently (biggest difference is I add some chopped up chicken breast). A bit time consuming to make, but I'll be eating a very tasty bowl of soup in about 15 minutes.

I'm not totally decided, but thinking about frying up some bacon & eggs. That or order a pizza.

I've had a great many, I'm afraid. Honestly I've lost count. During my time in Korea, I found myself at bars many nights, often during the week. Many days I drank until 11pm, stumbled in before midnight curfew, and made it to work at 7am. My second night in Korea, the guys took me to one of the favorite bars. I intended to only drink 2 or 3 shots of Jack, but that turned into a lot more . We were also playing Jenga with tequila as a penalty shot, which the waitress kept setting down in front of me, and I kept drinking . Next day at work, I found out I owed my friends $140 for my portion of the bar tab .

One of my cats' most useful functions is not letting me ride my snooze alarm for too long.

Yeah, Shadow lets me know she's happy in other ways. She'll lick any part of me she can get to. Real nice at night when she poops, licks her butt, then kisses my face . Sometimes when I pet her, her facial expression seems to suggest orgasm-like pleasure.

Enjoy her kittenhood. Soon they'll want to get outside, meet up with their kitty friends, and do God knows what. I gave Shadow a stern talking to last week after she came home high. Her kitty pupils were horizontal slits instead of vertical ones . Talk to your kitty about drugs early. I gave Shadow some catnip to cut the withdrawl symptoms, but I fear she's going to be an addict for life.

Good stuff. I really wasn't a cat lover, until a few months ago. Used a can of tuna to make friends with Shadow, not realizing that feeding = friend for life. I haven't been able to get rid of her or resist her charm.

Wow, pretty spot on. Shadow's very talkative. Probably my favorite facial expression is her "WTF??" that she uses when she gets a bath or I trim her nails. Common in Shadow's voice are "FEED ME!!!", "Let me out!!!", "Play with me!!!", "I was sleeping you son of a bitch, and you woke me!!!". All spoken either very sweetly or with fiery hatred.

Sounds like she's just playing. Shadow gets the ghosties all the time, running all over the apartment, pouncing on imaginary prey. Often I hear her slipping and sliding on the kitchen floor at 2am. Scared the hell out of me first few times she did it, but that's just her way of playing and bleeding off extra energy.

Is it fair to say a purring cat is a happy cat? Abby's my first experience with purring, mostly when I pet her. She doesn't purr very loudly, but strong enough that it vibrates her whole body. She sounds like a little compressor, complete with the intermittent harmonic some compressors have.

Sometimes 20 or 30 minute naps work for me. Often they turn into 1-2 hour naps.
