I got the same diagnosis in 1981, when i was 3. Took Ritalin for years, then stopped in '01 or '02. Anyhow, I got the same diagnosis again about 6 weeks ago; and have been taking Strattera since. I LOVE this stuff. I'm ultra focused and get a lot more stuff done. Psychiatrist gave me a bunch of samples to SLOWLY work up to 100mg. 100mg was too much, but 80mg's PERFECT .

My folks just had their 44th anniversary. They got married 2/8/64, 3 weeks before my dad's 5th birthday; and he just had his 16th . My mom's folks are having their 65th this summer, very shortly before my mom's 64th birthday. Each of my dad's parents got married at least 5 times, and were each others second spouse before the age of 20. Grandma's 4th & 5th husband were the same person who she outlived, and she recently buried #6. Grandpa died 15 years ago and his youngest daughter was born in 1985.
