I know the feeling.. I left my "old buddy" with ChopChop on Friday night.. The rig has saved my life for over 300 jumps, but it is time to move on.. Don't be too emotional, you're upgrading to a Wings... you'll forget about that old container in no time LMFAO!! your "old buddy" Hah! ummm.. I uh.. ummm... the gate is broken.. yeah, that's it.. it's broken shut! We can't open it.. and uhhh.. Plaything is stuck naked in the jacuzzi.. and ummm... we're out of alcohol (yeah, right!) and ummmm.. my 99 yo gramma is visiting and she keeps her teeth in the kitchen sink while sponge-bathing naked on the patio.. and uhhh.. i gotta wash my hair. So.. when we fix the gate and get plaything out of the hot tub and dressed and we send Gramma back to wherever she came from (or throw her over the back fence) and I wash my hair, you guys can come over and we'll have a party.. BMW 328i convertible and a non-descript white cargo van with WI plates that took out a large deer in Wyoming and also goes 90 to Skydive Taft so we can jump out of Mullins super fast King Air for $14. chopchop gotta go... it was a pretty cool hybrid.. a 12-way out of a King air is no simple construction and the people involved did a nice job of keeping it safe.. If that base wasn't turning, I am sure more of the stingers would have gotten on.. As it was, I consider it a pretty nice success. Hell.. Just to confirm what this thread is all about though.. Plaything does need kudos for getting up at 3:30 am helping to drive us all down there, hanging out while we all had a blast and driving most of the way back while keeping a good attitude and a smile on her beautiful face... No wonder I love her..
