My first rig was a Javelin purchased new.. my second a Voodoo also purchased new.. I will never buy another Javelin. I had a serious problem with mine that caused me once to land with brken lines and a second time to cut away a main with broken lines. My finger tips will forever bear the scars of the second one as the lines burned through my fingers after releasing fromt he snags on the container. Sun Path denied that it ever happened and sent me back the rig. I don't care if a company screws up once in a while but stand behind your product or lose a customer forever. They have definitely lost me forever. RI, on the other hand, rocks. They are very communicative and responsive. And IMHO, the Voodoo looks nicer. It definitely stays closed better than the Javelin did and seems to be holding up better too.. And it's lined and easier to pack.. It's just nicer all the way around. chopchop gotta go...
