Where do the small parachute rubber stamps I often see stamped on money come from? It is time for us to do the same with our $$ to show the locals the currency that goes through the place. TK

Team prize is being worked on for fastest team. TK http://www.skydivecity.com -
but the fact of the matter is that the Energy and Commerce Committee ARE tlaking about the issue - they have a website, search House Energy and COmmecre Committee, then search there for Net Neutrality. Lots of discussion - some of it AGAINST making any rules for it. Would you rather that USPA wait for a bill that restricts skydiving to be in front of Congress before they act on it? Everyone please stop beating up n Move-On, they did not create the issue, they are simply pointing it out. It is a good petition. TK
-
If the petition is successful - then there may never be a bill to debate. Should we waste a bill (and our tax dollars) debating one? sign it, it's a good idea fer chrissake! TK

http://www.civic.moveon.org/save_the_internet/?id=7481-5645165-.G6XHoU0mpSf_uPy0V80DA&t=1 If you get a chance to sign it, please do - the nut of it is that the larger internet providers want to have a say over what you can and cannot view on the internet, if you are subscribed through them. It would allow them to charge money for more exposure - effectively making the internet an advertising tool for revenue, instead of a free search and information tool I vote for voting against that (did you follow that?) from Moveon: use the link at the top and sign the petition, thanks TK

I thought the 'coming of the Lord' was supposed to be a good thing, not the disaster that you have appear to be predicting.... you religious types are so full of ...... TK

a great story and scenario to learn from - it happens all too often and the moment between life and death can be a second and shit-ass luck. I have always said, "if pilot's flew airplanes the way we fly parachutes, they would take their license away for life..." we are learning canopy control and finally starting to teach it, now we need the next step of patterns, priorities and right-of-way and it needs to be taught and in some cases enforced, especially in smaller and tight landing areas. A good example for those who are reluctant to ask for help with canopy stuff for fear of being labelled as a 'canopy geek' or inexperienced. No one wants to look bad so I alwayys reassure them that we do not teach these skills because you are lacking - we teach these skills because someday some idiot is going to cut you off at 50' and you will need to know how to react, rather than just yank a toggle. I also use other ways to find company direct phone numbers by searching www.bbb.org (Better Business Bureau) They often have CEO and corporate Office numbers and contacts. No better way to get good service that to call the CEO's office when you have had trouble with their support lines. www.networksolutions.com has a link to the WHOIS database and you can look up the web domain 'owners', which sometimes have corporate head office contact info as well. Everyone agrees that they do not like talking to machines, yet every company is still going in that direction. I make it a point to complain about inefficient robots when I do get to a human and ask that they give that fdbk to their supervisors.....

we do about 275 AFF Level 1's each year, and about 80 Level 7's, so about 1 in 3 finish. We are starting a newer tracking system using ACT software to try and follow-up with those that drop out and try to keep them coming out to play before they too uncurrent

then definitely it must have been self-defense.....

Christian in a Muslim Country? You're Fucked, thanks for playing!

an Afgani snitch told someone in Iraq that a guy in Afghanistan told him...... well that sure sews it up for me - let's invade!! If there was anything to this - Bush would be holding it up and waving it around given that he is 36% in the polls right now. my guess it is worthabout the weight of the paper it was written on.

no one is having a bad day - just pointing out the stuff that floats around and no one bothers to ask "I wonder if this is real or just bullshit..."? taken to the extreme, this junk gets people riled up about all kinds of things, starts wars, protests, and gets people killed.. People need to stop and think - but few do.

get a sigma and have to deal with a company that will not deliver parts on time, will hang you if you make a mistake and does everything they can to cover their own ass instead of looking out for their instructors and reps out there. Go with Strong and get timely service, great products, innovation and new ideas implemented when you ask for them and all-around great service.
-
not a bad idea - I just had a premture deployment at 7000' yesterday due to a floaty ripcord on the Strong - touch and tuck, does not hurt

My Kelli is preety cool. Burned before - both of us had to work on a lot of things - I have never been happier than right now we still have disagreements, but she is doing what she wants, and I enjoy what I do, and no matter what - we love each other. TK
-
you can also use a red wine base for the gravy instead of screech - had some last winter when my folks were down - flippers are kinda hard to find down here in Florida
-
Seal flippers are a Newfoundland delicacy, FLipper pie we call it and I can even get you the recipe. yummee. We argued this same arguement year after year, I am not going to re-write the same posts over and over again, you can link it here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=1513243;page=1;mh=-1;;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC and here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1514169#1514169 and that's the reality of the seal hunt - WE KILL ANIMALS FOR FOOD millions of them every day get used to it TK

What album can you listen to without ever getting tired of?

I do not totally disagree, but our efforts could also be argued to have strengthened the wills of many of those communist regimes and helped the effort take a more firm hold in some parts of the world. All empires fall, Rome, the USSR, The British, and eventually, us. Leave it the frig alone, its not for us to decide who runs what country - see my original post and thread(s)
