This reminds me of an incident and was probably in the "Bad Spot" thread at one time: After the skydive and low opening due to a very late freefall kiss (1500' on the protrack,) we circled to find an open area a vacant lot adjacent to some homes with backyards. The local kids had seen the whole bit and asked if we were lost and couldn't find the airport. Luckily, the rampdude saw us land out and sent the cavalry to the rescue. Onlookers on the road gave us strange looks while we were walking to the cross street and even when in the back of the truck.

Michele, Glad you made it out to 'Snore! Also nice to see Kimmer and the rest of the Perrisians come over after the sun went down. Only bummer is that we didn't get to jump with you. Hope you come back. BTW, didn't you mention you still have a jump tik left? If anything, me and Westcoastchica will roam over the hill to PV and jump wit y'all. It was a happening time. BTW, whatever happened to FFPM? There was a "sighting" earlier in the day I heard. Anyway, if yer out this weekend I hear the British are coming! They're always good for a beer or two.

Need a ride: SD to Perris on 27 Oct for swoop meet

What time is your flight back? I work in La Jolla, but live about 20 minutes from Perris. Depending on your flight I can give you a ride down to SAN, but it will be O-dark 30 when I leave for work. So you might have to find something to do at the airport; like maybe test out the security there. -
Same at Elsinore. And we have 3 different landing areas; 2 with grass, the other, weeds. We have the landing "police" to cite you, and if you are the first down setting the pattern the wrong way, you WILL hear it from the jumpers who land after you.

Dude, Hate to say it, but you are fuct.... I met a St. Pauli girl from the fatherland here in SoCal. A flight Attendant with Lufthansa, I think. She had a cutaway, bought Heine's instead of the hefeweizen and haven't seen her since. She still owes me a cup of coffee, though. Better make your way over to Elsinore for the Chicks Rock Boogie!
