  4. Indeed, I've learned my lesson. As stated, i put that up for us unexperienced to learn from, and the more experienced to have an 'i told you so' moment. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
  5. here is a post for the experienced to say, "I told you so." But I do not post this for them, I post it for the less experienced, like myself. This past Saturday, I participated in a Tracking dive, at breakoff, we track away , and i was to do a BR to check my space before deploying. I had not fully braked when i initiated my BR, ended up flailing around, lost all control and unstable. It took me a couple seconds to regain belly to earth, wave off and pull. I had to land out. *unrelated to my point, but rather than land in the huge field, i decided on the dirt road next to the field, so not to have to cross the barbed wire fence.. so i landed parallel to the barbed wire, and towards power lines/street. sure, i had a good landing, but wasnt the smartest thing* Anyways, When I looked at my neptune afterwards, it had a recorded 1400 feet as deployment, so I probably pitched about 2100ft. Scared the others on the jump with me, as well as myself. A few seconds later, the outcome would not have been as pretty. I learned from this, do i think BR are a bad idea, No, not on tracking dives, on small 4 ways and such, yes, they are pointless. BUT , if you are going to do a BR, make sure that you are able to, and experienced in the way you want to perform it. I have done BR before, while stable, and that is how I meant to do it this time, but i was still in track when i initiated it, and look what happened to me. 6. i remember one jump, i was doing a 2 way cat and mouse with a kiwi.. he was unnoficially coaching... i jumped out, and thought, "wow, it seems extra windy, i wonder why?" .. then i realized that i left my goggles sitting above my eyes on the helmet. put them on and no problem. I will admit, i could see just fine without them on. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720

  8. i would go with 200. I had gone in high school, and there were times that my teacher/class did our own things, an dthat meant spending more money for food. also, if they go to any museums or such that cost money, then she will be fine. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720

  13. i think this thread was posted in humor, then squeak challenged him, and now he has accepted the challenge, not intending to actually dissapear in the biginning. I didnt get a serious feel when i first read the poll , and of course people with the sense of humor like mine, are gonna click, go away, . but i don't care either way. * i think i'm gonna go and cry in the corner, i'm jealous of the attention he gets, if i posted that i was leaving, maybe 1 person would say farewell. 22. this poll is too vague for me to answer. you are talking on a strictly, parents knowing the kid is sexually active, right? but there are hundreds of cases where parents buy the child birth control, and it is not for sexual purposes. the poll leaves that out of the equation. many of the girls i know that are on it are on it for regulating irregular/very heavy periods. and those girls were not sexually active when on them, and being on them had nothing to do with them becoming sexually active. 24. in Disneyland.. must sees are.. Space Mountain, Indianna Jones, Haunted Mansion, Log Ride Pirates. .. and my personal favorate is the Astro Blasters.. an interactive buzz lightyear ride. there are several others too. If you happen to go on the Mark Twain *big white boat that circles the rivers of america* quickly talk to the cast member about riding in the wheel house. then your kids will be able to drive the boat, and maybe blow the horn/ring the bell. Same kind of thing with the monorail, if ask them nicely, and they are not on a heat index 2 or 3, then you can ride in the very front, with the driver or very back. its really cool. as for DCA, it really is not that great of a park. it's major attractions are Souring, Tower of Terror, Screamin', and Malliboomer. for the kids, there is a fun 4D Bugs show in bugland, and muppets in hollywood. Animations building is ok, can learn how to draw a disney character. kids might really like that. oh, and the monsters inc ride, its ok. as for eating, you are better off bringing own food, or exiting the park and going to an outside restraunt. In Disneyland Blue Bayue is a nice place, but they are always busy, and need to reserve seating in advance (714)781-Dine. Tomorrowland Terrace *thank God they went back to that name* is a nice burger restraunt, what makes it so great is the interactive Star Wars show for the kids. they can fight Darth Vador and such. Pizza port, in tomorrowland as well, has better food, but seating can be a problem on hot days. well, i think i gave more information than you were looking for. but if you have any questions, just shoot me a messege. I used to work there until i got fired in October.. woohooo, thank God for that! haha. CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720
