According to your profile, you don't have a HOME Drop Zone, or a location. (Without info, I can only suggest the following: Some dropzones have very good shops and demo-to-own plans can be made. Square 1 & Square3(CrossKeys) have done this from what I have read from "their" sites. (The restriction of gear use limited to that DZ may be a part of the deal). I NEVER wanted to do it and my best friend taked me into it 8months after his roomate talked me into scuba. I said yes, and prayed for rain. I fell in love with the sport. took 5 years off and came back as a novice that wished "I SHOULD HAVE NEVER STOPPED JUMPING!!!" I'm veery happy a find deep spiritual joy in jumping. I now enjoy getting my self back up to par so I can do more with friends @ the DZs.

Have you ever jumped a SkyRay? I would imagine a god drive for speed into a track the way YOU do it would genrate some lift the way the guys at SkyRay R&D did. After 12 years at it, I tend to keep my past equipment, almost as a sentimental thing. Loaning complete(w/CYPRES) gear to folks just off student btu, not yet buying, has a personal reward as my gear is with large canopys and safe wing loads for folks that would be buying under 220 canopys in 50 more jumps. I let their coaches deem if the gear I lend would be in their best interest. Selling the gear is same change. Helping others is an endlesss reward.
