When I attended Church of LDS, THe Book Of Mormon stated the 3 planes of Heaven. You family could be divided up depending on how you lived your life. The picture/sketches show to me during my studies were drawn out as planets with Saturn like rings. This maybe just for visual aid but, in fact they looked like planets. Artistic impression leaves specific thoughs in our minds and "3 Planets" is a common one for explaining the after life according to J.Smith. That is known as the Plan of Salvation and it is normally drawn out with circles. That does not necessarily mean they are planets. It's just a visual aid type of thing. It helps people understand it better. I don't know about you but everytime I see a circle* I do not think about planets. ______________________________________________ When "people" are expected to exhist on something "round", out in space,heaven, etc. The mental note taken for many, would be another planet (us that were "welcomed" to study* Or maybe we were NOT "welcome"-you tell me). A plain round circle, flat (like the World used to be) would be less heaven like to me (7 Planes of Hell are said to be flat circles). You tell me. I enjoyed the Elders and Sister as they taught me.
