    I was a James Bond Movie fan from the 1st time we saw one. At the drive-in.     I can COMPLETLY relate to your "Manic" desire. When I saw the Birdman suit, I was entigued. I then saw the "SKY RAY" and was feeling possed by the Germilins of the sky(140mph horizontal flight/track )mph vertical). By the time I'm ready for all that, I will have NEW goals that may not even involve that or skydiving(Father of 3), such as wind tunnel time for the kids. Time changes all, even rocks are changed. A good example: 6years of "my life is Bobsled & Skeleton/Cresta" then, I got talked into scuba and skydiving by the same guy. Now people & family think I'm a "Preacher" that wants to get their souls to Heaven by trowing them out of a plan in the name of JOY! Stay focused but, stay flexible too (as I'm typing this, I have my foot behind my head) p.s.     If you know someone who is paying half of their income in taxes, then tell them to fire their accountant! My parents paid 60% due to their tax bracket with CPA's from the Bank Of New York (who would rather see it all got into their bank!) (I don't have that problem...I'm the 1st "blue collar worker" in the History of my Family but, I'm the only one without an ulcer) >>>Facts on "Stupid Taxes": The Fed. tax on your Phone bill: "To pay for the "War"---THe Spanish-American War.     Hey Dave, I love that Sean Connery/Presidio deal. As you already know, the handgun is used best as an extention of yourbody ( no time from sights) if in other countries, anything can be used as a weapon. In my disciplen I was also taught that you may have to sacrafice an arm or leg to save yourself and get your attacker. I was shot by a Highway sniper when I was 11.(His 3rd hit and only 17yrs old) It tends to mess with your head for awhile but, you have to admit, now that you have yourself prepared for what most just panic during, you never really feel unarmed, & you're less threatened by the basic idiots out there --It's NOT paranoia, it's a HEIGHTENED sence of awarness, because once-in-awhile, they ARE out to get you. _______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

    From my Father (now dead) & Step-mother(still active agent), being Interpol C.T. agents, we would get crime statistics on any place we would visit before going. Finland never even qualified for concerns with crime stats. The blow over of fall out up North( Chernobyl ) was the only reported worry since WW2 . It's interesting also that "Finland is the ONLY country in the history of the World that paid back their debt to the U.S. & in Silver bars." That shows a Nation's integrity. (A friend of mine from IBM told me that. He's my Dad's age and is from the Helsinki region) I'm Scotch/Irish and am more afraid of getting mug by a relative than than being worried of a bad luch in Finland. Yes, I love the U.S. but, there are other countries too! I love to visit, learn and appreciate then, return home

    Your apology is accepted. My past is why I now choose a simple life in the present. Growing up in a life of active Para-military, I have experienced enough to say that I've seen alot of pain in the World. I've also learned that I no longer have to tolerate certain things or people. Sarajevo, Columbia, North Africa, & the Opium field of Thailand. There are good and bad everywhere. Many here at DZ.com are very familiar with WAR.
