If one just keeps flogging (stick to the game plan) the horse will arise from the dead......won't it? My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

I could see Jimmy Hoffa, but Sinatra and Monroe? Why? My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

Funny, I hadn't initially looked at it that way but, yeah your right. Kind of disturbing. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

That speaks volumes. Lennon seemd to take himself far too seriously. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

But the guy was a singer! What could the FBI and Brit intelligence possibly feel meritted such attention? My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

Actually OBL is just Elvis in disguise There are probably people who actually would believe either of those two comments. Judging by some of the bizarre arguments used to support these conspiracy theories, I think you are right. If people can buy into these ludicrous theories, it is no wonder that a large majority of North Americans still think pro wrestlers are really fighting. Anyway I must cut this post short as there is a black helicopter overhead and I know for a fact it is monitoring our conversation.....they are on to us..every one of us on this thread! Am I missing something here? He seemed like a bit of a flake, but threat to national security? What were they smoking? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20061220.wlennon1220/BNStory/Entertainment/home Must be one of those conspiracy things that I keep missing out on. Are you suggesting, god forbid that people should be accountable and take responsibility for their actions? What a crazy radical agenda. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

Some people should be used for target practice

Aw dang, Sorry Warped. I should have thought before using that name. My apologies. Agreed My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within. -
I feel bad for the poor shrink who has to listen to the young man talk about this traumatic event while being forced to keep a straight face and not burst out laughing. This heartless ? ***Be nice to put six pellets into his face at close range. Maybe a few more into his testicles. The guy who did that was a warped mean spirited sicko who derived pleasure from hurting an innocent defenceless animal just for amusement. I don't think that doing the same to him could compare on the basis of cruelty, since he would at least be aware of why it was happining ( and if he had a brain he would realise he deserved it). The dog was innocent and did nothing to bring such a horrible attack upon himself. Or poodles. But seriously. How heartless does a person have to be to commit such a terrible act upon an innocent animal that is tied up and cannot even run away. It really frightens me that a person could derive amusement from doing such a thing. The instant someone starts a counter-argument with these words I just know I am in for an infantile rant, that has more to do with yelling and straw man arguments than any real substance. Thank you for proving the point I was making when I said ...."Then when I refuse to buy into their silly theories I get accused of thinking that everything our government does is good and pure without any corruption whatsoever. ". Obviously my failure to subscribe to your extreme position clearly means I subscribe blindly to the complete opposite extreme. I did. Obviously it went right over your head. People like you make SC oh so entertaining. You do not like the point a person makes so you go screeching back at the person in a fit of rage. If you really wish to learn then the first step is to be a big boy and stop screaming when someone has a point of view you do not like. It is amazing what you can learn when you take your ego out of these debates. No. I am having fun right here. Anyway, I did not come here looking for a fight and my comments were not meant as an attack on you (so stop pounding on your computer screen, count to ten and breath), I just wanted to make a comment about the general publics obsession with conspiracy theories. So...while it would be amusing to go back and forth with you on this, I suppose no-one else would appreciate us using valuable bandwith to engage in a pissing contest. Tell ya what, you can get the last word in if you want and I will let you win so you can puff out your chest. Warmest regards,

Way too disturbing to contemplate. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

I have tried using this argument for years to no avail. Despite the fact that a president cannot get a blowjob without the world finding out about it, people still want to beleive that the US Government, in collaboration with space aliens being lead by a still living Elvis Presley who coordinated the Kennedy assassination, are running these collosal conspiratorial events right under our noses, which we would never know about were it not for the clever genious of independant filmmakers, analysts and a few hollywood figures whos careers are suffering. They still have not explained why this evil conspiratorial government has not made any of these investigative documentary makers disappear. Then when I refuse to buy into thier silly theories I get accused of thinking that everything our government does is good and pure without any corruption whatsoever. Yup. I still stand by that statement about Michael Moore. Michael Moore is a 400 pound Tom Green. While people know they are not supposed to take Tom seriously, they sadly cannot figure that out about Michael Moore. By the way I live in Toronto and I do lock my doors as do most people I know who were as baffled as I was by that claim in his movie. Some idiot felt it would be amusing to shoot a dog six times in the face with a pellet gun. If they catch the little jackass the punishment should fit the crime. http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/WeirdNews/2006/12/19/2877212-sun.html Canada needs a serious overhaul of it's animal cruelty laws. There is almost no deterrent to this sort of thing. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within. -

I know quite a few people who advocate full legalization, but do not use drugs. Your brush might be a little too broad. He is not too far from the mark. I always get a laugh when people talk about all the wonderfull things that would occur if we could legalise it. For example here in Canada people always made the argument that taxing it could pay down the debt (since clearly tax revenues from drugs would not be squandered by our government like they do with all other tax revenues). I have no objection to the idea of legalization but i really wish advocates would use sensible arguments based on the relative harmlessness of marijuana. Instead all i hear is how if we legalise we can tax and then, end organised crime, pay down national debt, clothe and feed the poor, cure cancer, cause the stars to align resulting in peace on earth...etc. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

The problem is that too many people like to be mean spirited while indignantly pointing to thier charter/constitution rights to do so (like that church group protesting funerals that has been discussed at lenth on this forum). Too many people with a chip on thier shoulder who know their rights choose to abuse those rights to needlessly irritate others. Often when a simple compromise can be reached they will refuse just out of principle (they have a right to act like jerks and will exercise it) My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

By my definition a marriage can only happen between a man and a woman but since it does no harm to me for two gay people to call thier union marriage why should I object. It does not in anyway diminish my marriage to my wife so live and let live. While I respect your opinion as this is a very hot button issue, I think gay marriage should be legal. I do however object to gay rights groups demanding that churches perform gay marriages despite the obvious fact that such a thing would go against the religion of the church be pressed to perform it. It reeks of special interest groups with a chip on thier shoulder stirring up shit just to get in the face of the church. It is that very behaviour that irritates me about special interest groups. They pick fights they do not need to pick because they enjoy shaking up what they perceive to be the establishment. When they irritate people into the inevitable backlash they are trying to provoke, they then cry victim. PC only serves to stifle constructive debate, and force people to submit to radical agendas. For example, while I support the right of gays to marry, I have been accused of supporting intolerance because I agree with the right of the church to not participate in gay marriages (freedom of religion). On a similar note I have been quite critical of Canada's immigration policy and during debates on the issue I have been called a white supremist xenophobe (the fact that my wife is a landed immigrant and a visible minority seems to be lost on the idiots accusing me being a nazi). Criticism of the existing policy gets interpreted as criticism of immigrants and is therefore Un-Canadian (not PC) and is immediately jumped on. PC is all about intimidating people into submitting to some particular agenda. On a similar note, whenever there are mixed communities there is the possibility of friction between those communities. Through open dialogue these differences can be worked out but PC prevents such dialogue.
