Racism and sexism are alive and well in the US
Vallerina replied to billvon's topic in Speakers Corner
Just don't take ageism and locationism away from me, and I'm good. Oh...wait...I still need sexism, too. It's interesting....where that line of being too disriminatory lies. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning -
I don't disagree with that, but these people are being fired for smoking on their OWN TIME. not during work. Oh my goodness...I'm supporting smokers! I don't think smoking should be allowed in restaurants/bars because secondhand smoke is deadly, however, what someone does in their own house on their own time (as long as it isn't something like insider trading) has nothing to do with the company they work for. You're probably not "safe" in any plane...especially if it's ever been to a boogie of any kind! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Oh my gosh! Thanks, Dave!!!! Now, I know who I'm going to have marry me if I ever get married. I'm going to have a Beer Church guy marry me in my big light-up dress after a I punch through a big paper thingy that says, "Val Rocks." I'm going to get a chocolate fountain, and play "Safety Dance" and "Come On Eileen." There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

ever been in a DC-9 baby? Hmmm....you may have found a new, good pick up line! And, JP, yes, straddle benches on a plane that has an "incline" to it is very...umm...useful!

Okay, I don't feel so boring now!!! (Btw, straddle benches are GRRRRREAT!) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

haha! Me, too! I can't stand it when a guy tries to "get you alone." I really just don't like it when guys don't just "let it happen," and they try to force it. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Does anyone know who the tandemmasters and camera flyers were? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Is that why police use cats to assist them? Sorry, but many dogs are much more intelligent than any cat. I've never really liked cats. I can't stand their fur. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I've mostly seen cessna jumpers track off later because, "We're used to making the most of our freefall time!" There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I think I found the place I want to live if I move away from Chicago! And, Wingnut, I am so jealous! That's it! I'm telling my friends that get married that they should have this!!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

How weird! I've had that same dream! (Actually, my coworker and I just had a conversation on whether it was better to be the licker or the lickee.) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I hate to admit it, but I've been liking some of the mash-ups I've heard... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

How about a buddy list of some sort?
Vallerina replied to weegegirl's topic in Suggestions and Feedback
I think that option was available way back in the day...as in 2001 (I remember having a whopping 2 friends on my list or something.) It was kinda nice, though! -
I need to throw myself a big party so that I have an excuse to get this: http://www.thechocolateguy.com/ That's right. It's a fountain where chocolate flows oh so beautifully!
