I tried snowboarding out for the first time this past Sunday, and I went by myself. I asked for lessons, and they were really busy with about 11,000 kids, so I had to wait for a bit. I went up to the window again, and she asked who the lessons were for. I told her that the lessons were for me. She asked how many, and I got confused because I just told her the lessons were for me. So, she asked how many kids I had, and I told her that I had none. She looked shocked. She said something about how brave I was for coming to take lessons all by myself. Personally, I don't get it. I've done lots and lots of things by myself. Sometimes, doing things like taking snowboarding lessons is better when you're all alone because you're not distracted by friends/family. You're concentrating on what you need to do. So, do you do things on your own? Do you feel weird about it? Last night, I went to yoga class again, and they focused in on relaxation. We did the 61 point relaxation exercise, and it was yummy. My bodly felt just as relaxed as it does after having a massage! I would like to lay on the floor and do it again right now, but I don't think it's appropriate here in the office. This is what I don't understand. I could've easily fallen asleep during the exercise. I came close to dozing off after she had us just laying there for awhile. However, when I came home, I was wide awake. I couldn't fall asleep at all! Why does that happen? I think I'll go back to class tomorrow morning just so I can do that exercise again!
