Well, I am a little black raincloud looking for a parade... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
-
It's kind of like saying, "I'm going to listen to this one person about what to do with my car, but when my car actually breaks down, I'm taking it to a mechanic." There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

That is like going to a General Practitioner for a psychological problem.....not the best idea because they don't specialize in that area (lack of specific knowledge). However, I have gone to my accupucturist for cramps. I find it odd that people who claim to have such extensive knowledge of illnesses and diseases don't have the knowledge of one specific organ. It sounds like maybe you've had some bad luck when it comes to meeting doctors. There are quite a few on this board who are most definitely not arrogant and genuinely want to help. What is western medicine not good at diagnosing? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
-
Actually, quite a few people in smaller areas can't pick who their riggers are. I never said that all eastern medicine is wrong. What I am saying is that there are people who have a ton of knowledge of how a human body works, and there are people with limited knowledge of it. Many people choose to believe those with limited knowledge over lots of knowledge. I'm not saying that no herbs or alternative treatments will work. Oops! Sorry! So, you would obviously see a doctor for them. Why? If doctors aren't really trying to help, don't know how to help, or some other sort of conspiracy, why would you go to a doctor for an important checkup? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I used to go to a Nurse Practitioner who I liked a hell of a lot better than the Dr that I now see. Why not go to an accupuncturist or an herbalist? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Bingo!! Once again, in every single profession, you will find people who are not doing their job. So, just because there are a few "bad doctors," does that mean someone who does not have knowledge of the human body is better qualified to treat conditions? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yes, just like everyone else in the world. Let me ask you this question then...who do you go to see for your pap smears? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
-
Yes, and that's why no one should ever believe everything someone tells them. There will always be exceptions. However, most doctors do try to fix the root of the problem, and they are usually the most qualified people to do so. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yes, and doctors tend to know these things. I don't know if I've ever seen a doctor who didn't ask me about my lifestyle. So, what you are saying is that they just don't know enough to help? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
-
You really believe that doctors usually don't try to fix the root of the problem?!?!?!?! Really, most doctors tend to be decent people that are very intelligent and have spent YEARS studying the human body and how it works. Do you think that they just don't know what the root of the problems are??? Or, do you think that they're just not very good people and know but don't want to fix it? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
-
It just makes absolutely no sense. If doctors aren't trying to fix the "root" problems, who is??? Also, I find it very hard to believe that most doctors don't try to fix the root problem. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

HUH???? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

NO! Doctors won't tell you that either! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Some scam artists get paid x $ for selling stupid books. Everyone wants to make money. Trying to say that you shouldn't trust people because they're in it for the money...well, DUH! People generally don't work for free. I still don't understand why people would buy that crap. Really, when someone studies the human body in such extensive detail, why wouldn't you take their word over some foofoo quackjob? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
-
Yup There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yeah, I almost threw on a disclaimer saying that you shouldn't believe everything every doctor tells you.... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

This is yet another thing I just really don't get. Why do some people NOT listen to doctors who have studied the human body for YEARS and, instead, listen to some guy who makes a living selling crap on informecials? I think my favorite parts are when they say, "Drug companies and doctors just want your money!" while trying to sell you overpriced books. My friend's theory is that Gen X was raised to distrust authority. I just don't get it! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

It has TONS of fiber and some other good stuff in it. I don't really eat bars or anything, but if I do, it's Kashi bars for me. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

It is what you are born with. My nephew wasn't even a year and a half years old when he would stare at pretty women in stores. Whenever a pretty girl would talk to him, he would start clapping and cheering. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
