then you are unique. I'd rarely hear back from people within a few days... especially from corporate jobs. I'm not unique for my industry. I don't mean hear back about the job position...I mean hear back at all. It's weird that she hasn't replied. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I think that's why I'm getting a little nervous. I've always heard back from them within 24 hrs of sending them an email..... Maybe she didn't get it? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Someone from their hr department contacted me about the position, so I don't know how widely advertised it is. I know that one of the other people I interviewed with (who also seemed to REALLY like me and even slipped and said, "She'll let you know when you start...errr...if/when." ) said that she had interviewed several candidates. So, I guess I'll email her again... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yeah, it basically sounded like she was looking at a few people and wanting to hire someone quickly. She is basically the only person who is deciding which candidate to hire. I interviewed with her on the phone, and on the phone she said she'd like to bring me in. I'm a bit weary about doing that because I have a feeling that they will tell me if I was not the one they picked. I don't see them not telling me when they've made their decision. That sounds like a good idea! Why does interviewing feel like game-playing? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I don't really know the right thing to do when it comes to trying to get a job in corporate America, so it never hurts to ask you guys! Basically, I had an interview last Friday, and I sent a thank you email on Monday. Usually, I hear right back from the person saying, "It was great to meet you to, blah blah blah." I haven't heard back from her. Where do I go from here? Is it too soon to email again? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I heard "Diamond Girl" on the radio, and memories of my friend and I at the skating rink flashed through my head! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

A funny link (it's about religion, so I figured the safest place to put it is here....) http://www.godlessgeeks.com/LINKS/GodProof.htm My favorites: There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Omg! That was one of the cutest things I have ever read!!! My favorite part.... I don't have kids, but I have two nephews that I love as if they were my own, so I completely understand! Your son sounds like an amazing young man, and you sound like a terrific father! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Since you're taking your rig, you MUST go to Empuria Brava. It is such an amazing dz. It's very beautiful. The people are great. It's a little over an hour from Barcelona, which is also amazing. I also loved Scotland. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

So, if a tragedy strikes, relief effort should be given by first distinguishing between who could've left and those who couldn't because they didn't have the means? My guess is that if the same tragedy happened in any major city, you would have about the same amount of people that could've left staying behind unless a better evacuation strategy is developed. I don't really see the point in saying, "Well, they could've left and didn't!" If it makes people feel better for saying it, well, whatever helps you sleep at night. You've met one of my ex-bfs????? I think there were quite a few questions that are important to know. I think the others were a gauge of one's knowledge of sex in their society. I guess it's as important as knowing other things about one's society...and since sociology is a popular major, I guess that's why they figured it's important. With real friendships, you don't really have to "take" anything. Sure, people can get moody and aloof sometimes, but in real friendships, you don't have to "take" anything. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Since everyone here talks about sex so much, I figure this group of people will do really well! See how much you really know: http://psynet.com/Clinics/Tests/Test%20One/testmain.htm I missed three. (masturbation one, anal sex one and penis length one!) There were too many choices! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

No, most of my family is crazy except for my brother. He's completely normal. Does that make him the black sheep? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I prefer sex with other stuff for added variety. My sundae analogy is my favorite for sex. Sex is like the ice cream. Everything else is like the topping. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Oh, goody! You reminded me of what my boss told me....he told me that most people in the sport don't die on accident anymore. Most people who die commit suicide. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

That's a bit of an exaggeration. As someone here said, many people can and do check their own main pin. You may not notice them checking their own pin, so it's a bit irresponsible to say that they are not getting pin checks. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
