  1. I'm jealous. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  2. I put "grrr" in the title as opposed to the swear words I'm actually thinking. Well, I don't think it's the Firmware. It's still not working. At this point, I really hope it's the battery (ie, something that can be fixed...I don't want to buy another one.) Thanks for the suggestions everyone! 3. My condolences to you and your family. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  4. I do have 1.2.1....maybe that's it. I have the 30 gig photo/video one. I've owned it for a little over a year. The battery issue just started on Sunday (I've noticed other problems with it since...Oct?) No, it's not still in warranty. I work by an Apple Store, so if (what I'm hoping for) it's just the battery needing to be replaced...I'll hop on over there! I've tried going through all their steps on their site. It doesn't usually go very low....maybe once every week or two. Unfortunately, I can't let it die completely now, since it won't work without being plugged in to something!!!! I'll have to check out the thread about the 1.2.1 issue later! Thanks for posting that!!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  5. WTF? I'm not the most technical person when it comes to my (few) gadgets, so I have no idea of what in the heck is wrong. When I plug my magical iPod into the wall charger or the stereo dock, it seems to work okay. When it's plugged into my computer, it has the little animated "Please wait. Very low battery" screen even though it had just been fully charged using the wall charger. When I try to use it all on its lonesome, it does absolutely nothing. What in the heck is wrong with it? Does anybody have any suggestions other than following the advice on the apple site? If living without my iPod is like living in the good ol' days, I don't want it!!!!! 6. Maybe I can use this story to get my dentist to give me free dental work.... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  7. Only if you let me buy you some good MI beer...mmm...Bells.... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  8. Only if my whole team does it with me! (Isn't it a requirement to do everything together as a team?) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  9. I'm doubting that it's muscle. The reason that I stepped onto the scale was that I realized that my clothes weren't fitting any differently. Plus, it's not like I had just started a workout routine. I workout a decent amount even throughout the holidays and studying (I just eat like crap during those times.) No Bowl

I live in Indiana and work in Chicago. Out of all the Superbowls to ever exist, this should be the one I care about. I don't. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  11. I just don't want to buy any clothes. I'm spending too much on skydiving to afford new clothes! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  12. Just a note...I don't plan on giving up eating right and working out. I actually enjoy working out! I don't enjoy eating right, but I notice that I feel less crappy if I do eat right. Me, too! I keep track of my jogging/weight lifting and all that stuff to see that sort of progress. I have the section of pants I can't wear, and the section of pants that I can. I'd really like to be able to wear all of my pants again. That's what I'll call progress! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  13. She's ancient. Just because I got 60 spankings does not mean that's my *actual* age (27.) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  14. Haven't they all closed up yet? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  15. I doubt it's a plateau since I was pigging out and being lazy around the holidays and then got back into an eating healthy/exercise routine. I would also think that it was just muscle if my clothes were fitting looser. They're not. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  16. Nope. My thyroid is fine. I haven't been able to give blood for the past year, so they checked to see if I was anemic and also checked my thyroid. eeneR said that it's just me getting old. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  17. Yes, I know there are millions of threads and pics and blah blah blah. All I have to say is that I am freaking frustrated!!!!! In the past when I've been able to find my motivation, I've never really had a problem losing weight. Now, it's just impossible. No, I haven't hit a plateau, and no, it's not "those last ten pounds for looks." I really don't feel my best at this weight (and I don't want to buy new clothes.) Over the past three or four weeks, I've been eating about 1500 calories a day during the week and 2500 on the weekends (eating more vegetables than I really care to). I run 2-3 miles 5 or 6 times a week, do some kickboxing and some weight training here and there. When I hopped on the scale after noticing that my fat pants do not fit any differently, the scale had not changed from when I was eating too much and not working out enough during study/holiday season. I think I'm doing everything right (even torturing myself by drinking 80 oz of water a day.) When I did all of this crap before, I lost weight and felt much better fast. (Even during the winter....so I don't buy that excuse.) So, what does one do when the magical "eat less, move more" theory is not working? I didn't expect a huge change over just a few weeks, but some sort of a change would be nice. Grrrr! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

    UFC 68

You should, Cory!!! The other rumor is that MacDonald "The Athlete" will be fighting/losing to Franklin. I heard that Swick turned down the Franklin fight. I'd like to see Vera win, but I may not have the pleasure of seeing Sylvia lose the belt that I'm sure he sleeps with until Cro Cop. We're also going to go to the Arnold Classic for a bit. It should be a fun weekend! And Jeff....you might like fighting if you met one girl I know....she's hot, can kick everyone's ass in, and wears a shirt that says, "Ever been choked by a girl?" UFC 66

I can't wait for that one!!!! Great fights tonight!!! It was nice not having any of the televised fights go to the judges! I do think the Lidell/Ortiz fight could've gone on a little longer, but I doubt it would've changed the outcome. I'm once again impressed by the "Athlete" (quite possibly one of the worst nicknames.) I didn't expect Jardine to win, but wow!!!! I love UFC. And my stalking of Bisping has been upped a notch. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
  24. There is no problem. Christians everywhere can sell buttons that say, "I'm bringing Christmas back," and I'll be ecstatic for them as long as my tax money isn't used to buy crosses and my town hall doesn't display a nativity scene. All I want for Christmas is the separation of church and state!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
