Okay, that was DARN funny!!!! And, Elvisio, while beer helps me relax, I should not do that before skydiving or dancing!!! (Even if it does improve my dancing...I swear!) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Why can't I just relax? Has anyone else had this problem? When I fly in the wind tunnel, I have karate chop hands because they don't relax. When I go headdown, everyone always remarks how stiff my upper body is, and I need to relax. Last night at dance, my teacher rubbed my shoulders and told me I need to relax. How does one do this? Why am I so tense? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

It's not compassion. What bothers some people here is that it sounds self-righteous. Nobody is perfect. I've been embarrassed in skydiving because I didn't know something that I should know. However, I wasn't too embarrassed not to ask questions to people I know would answer them in a non-judgmental way. I'm not perfect. I don't know everything. I don't feel bad about asking questions even when it's something that I should know. Nobody should feel bad if they don't know something....especially after just a few overwhelming jumps. Actually, they did a proper gear check. They could tell the Cypres wasn't on. They checked it. They asked for further instruction to make sure it was turned on. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I take melatonin (3 mg) an hour before going to bed. I've tried taking Alluna, but I'm not sure if it does much good. I also drink milk an hour before going to bed. If you're having a stressful day, journalling an hour or two before going to bed can help, too. Warm baths also can help. I used to have horrible insomnia. It's better now. I don't wake up as much during the night anymore. That actually makes insomnia worse. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

That wouldn't be the best test then. A person should be required to do whatever they usually do without an AAD then. Why go and make everything a lot "safer" for them to go without an AAD? I'm not saying people should make a jump without an AAD (do whatever you want), but you should do every jump as if you didn't have one. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Maybe not the best, but I like the old and new version of "Whose Line Is It Anyways?" There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Wow. For my 20 some static line jumps, it wasn't done every time. I checked to make sure it was on every time, but it was not turned off and on for every student's static line jumps. Yes, and they may have checked to make sure it was on. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Not if it's a student rig which has been used, and for a few of their student jumps, they just checked to make sure it was on. I don't think it's all that tragic. Maybe they just wanted to double check. Maybe they did the same thing for the emergency procedures. There's a lot to learn in just 7 jumps. You can't expect everyone to remember everything. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Not really. Maybe it's been awhile since they jumped, and they forgot. Maybe they just wanted to make sure. This is why it doesn't bother me: They want to learn how to do it. I see nothing wrong with that. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

No, you just haven't realized that there is so much more to life than skydiving. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I have absolutely no romantic feelings for my best friend (that kiss in Spain meant nothing! I swear! ) I don't think soulmates are limited to being just one person in your life. I guess I see it as a connection that goes beyond our normal communication....a person who you can connect with in that way would be a soulmate. I could've lived just fine without one, but my life is better having someone that I connect with that well. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

-Paying for my nephews' education -Giving money to people who actually need it because they're starved and homeless...or just unfortunate (as in, it's not an orphan's fault they're there.) -Getting more education -Taking random, fun classes -(already mentioned) Seeing the world There is so much in life. Two years ago, I fell in love at Purdue's Breakfast Club while I was wasted, and I saw a guy dressed up like Duffman. I shouted, "DUFFMAN!" He says back, "Oh yeah!" It was a brief yet beautiful encounter. I want my guy friends to dress up as Duffman. They won't, so maybe it's time I take matters into my own hands! I'm seriously considering going as my idol for Halloween, but I might be too shy to crossdress! I need your advice. Should I go as Duffman? http://www.arr-the-kraken.com/projects/duffman1.php There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I've never bought into soul mates being your romantic partner. It brings unneeded stress into a relationship (ie "How do I know if they're 'the one'?") Plus, who says that the very one person you mesh with better than anyone else with has to be someone that you are sexually attracted to? My soul mate is my best friend. I knew 14 years ago that we'd be best friends 'til we're old and gray. No matter where we are physically, we don't grow apart. Our lives tie together in eery ways - we have a sort of psychic connection in that I know when she needs someone to talk to, and she knows when I need someone to talk to. I really don't take people's advice about my life except for hers. She does understand me and know me better than anyone else. So, I do understand what it's like to have a soul mate. I never felt the need to search it out in a partner. I never felt the need to search one out at all. One was basically brought to me at the time where I needed one most. 0:0:0 Big fun. I hate allergies. I started volunteering at the domestic violence shelter, however. It's rare that I spend a weekend hoping for the weekdays to come by quicker.... There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

That's what eeneR suggested to me when I told her I should go jumping! Since I'm sitting at home, bored and lonely, I will share another cute nephew story with you all. Robby (my three year old nephew) was sitting on my lap this morning using my computer. The game he was playing had a lot of snow in it. He looked up and back at me and goes, "Brrrr! Snow is cold!" Then, he picked up my right arm and put it around him, and then he picked up my left arm and put it around him.

For me it's my nephews waking me up. My one-year-old nephew will start piling toys on me until I wake up. He'll also pull the blanket off. I had a pretty crappy weekend since I'm not feeling very well (stupid allergies), and being outside actually hurts me (and it's gorgeous out! ) But, all is well because I got the best wake up call this morning. My three-year-old nephew slept over, and when he woke up, he looked for me. He opened the door to my room, he said, "Good morning, Auntie V!" and he came and gave me a kiss on the cheek!
