Is anybody here in a book club? I love reading, but I also love talking (big shock, right?) and discussing. So, when I read a book, and I want to talk about it, I usually get the, "Is she done talking yet?" look from others. It would be nice to actually talk about a book with people. I know there are book clubs, but I don't know if they're really cheesy or what. I could probably take a class, but that would probably cost me more money. I personally never wanted to be in a sorority because of: I don't feel the need for either in my life. I'm not sure how your school is (sorry if I'm repeating anything; I'm being bad and not reading other's replies) but my school had clubs for just about anything. I didn't feel the need to live with people I didn't share interests in just to make friends or have files for every class on campus because I could go and join clubs of things that I was actually into and form friendships based on that. Also, try lots of clubs and things that college has to offer! Most of my frat guy friends (who I'm still friends with) spent a lot of their time just with the frat and doing frat things. It took a good chunk of their time. They weren't able to do everything they wanted to do because of all the functions they had. (which was fine by me...I got to go to all the functions! ) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I might not be so in favor of the death penalty...

Why should our attitude be that? How about the people (judge, police, etc) that cause an innocent person to receive the death penalty? Should they die, too? I can think of nothing worse than killing someone who was wrongly accused. Even if you think our system is better with DNA evidence, we will kill innocent people with the death penalty. No matter how accurate the justice system can get, humans are flawed. It will never be 100%. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning -
I would rather have my dog as President than Bush. Since my dog isn't an option, I will have to go with the lesser of two evils. I will vote self-righteously next time, and I have debated this with myself over and over again. I generally get chillier except at night. For some reason, I get really hot when I'm sleeping, and I radiate heat. So, I'm really messed up! Ooooh! Those are really good. My coworker (who is from Buffalo) disagrees that they are the best in the world, but I've never been to Buffalo to experience the origin of wings. Last night, I went to this cute, little bar called Schoolyard by Wrigleyville. I love going there because they have nice, outdoor seating, and they have the best soft pretzels ever! They have different kinds, but my favorite kind is the jalapeno soft pretzel. I've had jalapeno ones before (although, they are rare at restaurants/bars), but none even come close to how great theirs taste! We keep going to the same bar just for their pretzels! What about you?
