  1. 8,9,22,23,24 are the only ones I can't think of otherwise 25/30 18: Cube
  2. Why is itthat drinking solves most problems in the world. a nice cold bottle of lager and everyhting is alright. Wife left you have a drink! Dog dies have a drink! get fired have a drink. A few good friends and a few shots of anything will still be cheaper than going to a shrink and talking about your feelings and why mommy didnt love you enough. its all crap just have a few drinks and you'll be fine when you sober up in a few weeks or so. AAAAAAAhhhhhh good times. Peace I am going to get another beer.
  3. Well, it looks like I will have divorce number two. Yeah, I cant really believe this is happening again. Finances are a bitch and is the leading cause of divorce well it is true. Why did I bother to get married again what a waste of freaking time. Things were fine until we got married now they suck. I left everything I know for this woman moved half way across the country to be with her. I get nothing for that God Damn it. Sorry just needed to bitch to people I dont know thanks
  4. It isn't that guys get comfortable or lazy(at least in my case.) The causae of me getting fat is my wife feeds me every day and makes me eat breakfast and lunch and a huge homemade dinner. When I was single I was 165lbs and I ate when I was hungry and it was probably a pizza or a cheese steak. Now I weigh 185lbs and my wife couldn't be happier she brags to everyone that she is making me fat.
  5. I am not to sure about the leg straps I am going by what he said happened. he jumped first and was telling me about it later. He said he didn't flair and just did a good PLF. Thanks for the answers I was just wondering what he should have done if anything. I am going to ask our instructor on Saturday what he thinks. Like I said everything turned out fine.
  6. Ok this didn't happen to me but to a friend of mine. He was doing his second jump IAD everything went fine for the most part but he had to hold the right toggle all the way down just to fly straight. Would he have been wrong to cut away? Needless to say everything worked out ok he landed kinda hard but walked away. His thinking was the chute was open and kinda stearable so he kept it. Just was wondering what people here would do? Thanks.
  7. I am not to sure but my wife is in the Air Force and I was in the Marine Corps. She was just told she needs a high risk safety briefing. Thats all. So I guess you are allowed. During my time in the Marines I never thought about skydiving so no first hand information on there
  8. Police reporter for a county newspaper in Arkansas. It was absolutely the funniest job I ever had. I am a photographer the only way the paper would hire me is if I would do the police reports too. I said sure I can write ( I failed High School english not once but twice.) All I had to do was drive to the local police stations and read police reports and write a simple paragraph or two on the interesting ones. Prostitutes propositioning off duty cops, cops confusing half pounds of weed for half ounces. There are some really stupid people living in Arkansas. But hey I got a job as a staff photographer and spent more time shooting pictures then writing.
  9. Well, had the first jump yesterday (it was Freaking awesome) I remember getting on the plane and I remember hanging on the strut, I even remember letting go but after that until the parachute opened(yes I know it was only a matter of seconds but still everything else from once the door opened is crystal clear.) I really don't remember a damn thing. You do get over that right? I was told I did everything right but I really have know idea. Oh well hope I remember the next one better But other than that it was the absolute coolest moment of my life. we did the first jump class then waited most of the afternoon for the wind to die down and we actually jumped just before sunset and it was absolutly the coolest view I have ever seen. Thanks
  10. HOLY $%# that was a lot of fun. Well, I didn't get to go on Saturday as planned and I didn't get to jump twice like I wanted to but it was freaking awesome. I got to go yesterday (monday) and had the time of my life. Sure I don't remember anything from letting go of the strut until the parachute opened but after that it was really the coolest thing I have ever done and I really can't wait until the next time I get to go. I had a great weekend and the jump on monday really made the whole thing perfect. well, I will talk to everyone soon. Oh yeah let me just say freaking awesome one more time. Ok I am done.
  11. I am planning on going to either central arkansas para center in hazen or arkansas air sports in malvern. I am pretty sure it will be a blast no matter where we go. if anyone wants to add thier two cents on either place that would be cool. I read the review here on capc but they are really hard to get ahold of. So if anyone here knows anything about arkansas airsports that would be cool. Thanks
  12. Hello, I am just wondering if anyone can fill me in on what to expect with a static line training program. I am expecting to go saturday depending on the weather here. One more quick question is there a lot of people from arkansas that post here. Thanks.
  13. well thanks everyone for the welcome. The wife is really pretty cool with it. We have been together for a while even while I was a out of work photographer living at the firehouse and spending every waking moment there. She has learned when I was a firefighter to share me with others. Plus it is her fault I am here. SHE joined the Air Force (even after I told her all my scary military stories about the Marines) and MADE me move here and leave my friends and my job so this is kinda payback too. LOL Thanks again
  14. damn I am more afraid of that happening than the actual jump part. I am already broke and I am easily addicted to things( smoking, gambling, drinking the list goes on and on) oh well don't want to count my chickens yet I may cry like a little girl and land with the plane.
  15. well, hi everyone I just thought I would say hi. I am looking forward to my first jump in one week. I am so bored here in Arkansas and my wife keeps saying I need to find a hobby so here I am. I will probably ask a ton of questions between now and next week so I am sorry in advance. well, nice meeting everyone. Hope to talk to you all soon.
