a boogie happens when a drop zone gets a big plane, like CASA, twin Otter, Skyvan...and has experienced organizers (in different modalities of the sport...RW, freefly, Swoop...) sometimes the tickets can be cheaper too. people get to jump all day/weekend and meet a lot of cool and new people from other drop zones. most of the time prizes are provided and also some reps. like mirage, PD, and many more have their stands there, so you can "try" the products and even buy directly. what I really like about boogies is that you get to know a lot of people and get to jump with really good big ways organizers....can forget to mention the parties after sunset.....Oh, the parties..... ME LIKE THEM!

great news! I'm glad they were able to find it. I also hate thieves...... this past weekend, while I was at a boogie, I "lost" my altimeter"...it suddenly created legs and walked away if you know what I mean. I got so mad that I stopped jumping for the weekend. It's incredible that people that usually hangs out with skydivers know how hard it is to most of us to get our jumps and everything else together, being such an expensive sport...and even though, they take stuff away...just like that. since I always leave my gloves and altimeter inside of my helmet, I just realized that I didn't have it on the way to the plane; I have an audible one, but my BF was kind enough to let me borrow his on the way up. sucked. I'm still pissed... oh well... I swear I don't like to wish anyone anything bad... but in this case ... hard not to. well... I do not jump b/c of the adrenaline... it's good though,.. but I simply like it. and also to hang out with some good and funny people during the weekends . no I would never take anything to quit jumping or doing anything crazy.... xactly! I saw an interview with the mother in on of these morning shows and the child would not stop and was taken out of the set. if your child does not behave, it's your fault on and lack of education. I know some of them are little devils but I think I would have done the same thing. I know that must be hard to control a situation where the child won't stop crying... maybe b/c his ears hurt, or stomach... or whatever... but a kid that is simply not behaving when the mother tells him to stop needs a bit of punishment (no hitting... I don't like that). it all comes with a good talk, and yes, it works. I was raised like this and only got 1 butt snap from my dad and 1 from my mom my whole life; and so did my brother. http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org PMS#551 I love my life :)
