That's actually a pretty decent show. It's been around awhile. My favorite part is when the person narrating it states skydivers do not breath during free-fall. We absorb our o2 needs through our skin. I about died laughing, and this was coming from National Geographic.. Some producer who was supposed to check facts or proof the commentary is a doodoohead. Yes I need some VIBES.. Ya ya chastise me all you wish. There was a very bad crane accident in Houston yesterday. A crane toppled over and killed one man and seriously injured 2 others. Well I knew the man who died, drank beer with him many times and one of the injured is my best friend of over 30 years. I'd like to have some prayers said for the gentleman who died and some vibes sent to my bud in ICU. He's got a little 5yo baby girl and a wife who's pulling her hair out at the moment. Thanks guys.. I'm still in shock.. Story in the Chronicle for those who care to read it. if you lived in a tent at the dz.... I don't know what you do for a living and really don't care. I personally don't like you much so any personal information I know will only be used to my benefit. First off, I have had some awesome friends live in a tent at the dz, nothing bad about it. You cannot equate living in a tent at the dz to being homeless. Far from it. Second off, $35k a year is average in this country, $70k is a very comfortable living. So being able to make that type of income in 5 weeks would be awesome. I wouldn't want to do it, because I don't like the cold, let alone being cold and wet for 5 weeks a year. To each his own. A greenhorn deck hand can make $35,000 in 5 weeks. The other hands make 2x the amount. Think about it. An entires year salary in 5 weeks. Think of the skydiving you could do the rest of the year. Extra butter, with Tony Chachere's Cajun spice sprinkled over the top like salt.
