No it's not perceptions. The Sequoia is a land yacht mostly owned by stay at home moms that don't have to pay for the fuel or the maintenance. They drive like tanks, used way to much fuel. Toyota was competing with the large SUVs when they designed it. It's pretty much a dinosaur now in today's market. Only for the "rich an well off" that can afford the fuel costs or just don't give a rats ass how much pollution or fossil fuels they burn up. They deserve their luxury. Well I've probably got more HPs hitting the ground and Torque then that oil tanker you call an SUV. And I get 32 on the highway and 25 around town in my little 4cyl. Which would actually be much better if I didn't lead foot it everywhere. IF I had a family of 6 and needed the room maybe an SUV that size might be necessary. Only if I had to carry all the kids to soccer, football baseball or if one of my kids played the tuba. Justify it to yourself, don't try and sell me on it, I aint buying your self indulgence. Ok hippie.. here is a link to my actual car. I'm not pushing the Audi and will agree with Quade the VW GTI is more then enough car. I just like my car For a get around town, drive long trips and haul 2+ people + gear. This little sport-hatch has it all. Granted I paid close to $30k but it's well worth the cost. I've modded mine more for performance then regular driving since I joined a Euro car club and we hit the track once a quarter. She'll hit the triple digits pretty quickly stock. They drive very deceivingly... as in you can tool around town on the freeways at 90 and feel like you're driving 45. Only clue is everyone is looking at you like you're driving like a maniac, but in the car you feel as though you've got total control of the situation. Which in fact you do. It's a blast to drive. Slappie's A3 I do have some complaints though. we had an Avant a couple of trips ago in France. NOICE cars. its just a kicker what they want for a new one over here though. The RS6 is a sweet car... I still think the RS4 is faster and more nimble.
