Well after watching the show. I think it's pretty ironic how Marcel was "sabotaged" by some of the other members of his team. So it did boil down to personalities and cooking. If you can't get along with the other people in the kitchen; it shows in your final presentation. Ilan deserves it. He worked hard and was a team player with everyone else on the show when needed. It showed in his final menu & presentation. Marcel got what he worked for, to alienate himself from everyone and when it came down to relying on someone else to help him. He had already burnt that bridge. Good second season. I use the same method to purchase my fuel. Kroger is awesome. I drive an Audi, and it requires premium fuel. So I was quiet surprised this weekend when I found it at the local Kroger for 2.03 - .10 = 1.93!! I wanted a 55 gallon drum to load up. Just so I could have some reserve for when it goes back up. I agree Sam was the best all round chef, he just picked the wrong menus at the wrong times. Like no wine for an Italian cafe? Jeez... As for Ilan, he's a line cook in a Spanish restraunt. He doesn't have the all round experience to beat Marcel. I fucking HATE Marcel, but I have to admit he's a talented chef and will take this show down.
