I cannot argue about F1 I don't watch enough of it. Probably about as much as I watch NASCAR... I was arguing the point of it being called a sport. I wasn't talking about the driving skills of the participants. Who cares.. I'd much rather watch a 1-1 tied baseball game then soccer though... Well Mr. if you don't think NASCAR is a sport. I want to see you climb into a 800hp machine with temps reaching 120f inside the cabin along with engine temps blowing against you and 2 to 3g's of force slamming you into your seat for 3 hours and 500 miles dodging wrecks and idiots {Gordon} along the way... I have to agree the World Cup is rigged, the Germans along with the Officals cheated the US out of that game with penalties!! I'm gunna have to respond to this thread. I just got my rig so I was going to have it in bed with me for atleast the first week so it didn't get scared and stuff. But, the gf decided it was a bad idea. I tried to convince her it was only 8 months old and it was still very fragile. No go so it sits ontop of my gear bag in the living/dining/computer room. I put it on alot and inspect it all the time so it doesn't get lonely. Going to take it on a field-trip this Wed for, four hours of free jumps from the Super Otter at Spaceland. I'm sure it's going to enjoy the trip. I think it's finally settling down at the house and beginning to feel at home. I'm still worried though that it's previous owner is going to come looking for it.

I used to look up to the sky and wonder things, like how high those clouds were? What would it feel to float through one? ect... Now that I've become a skydiver [and does one "become" a skydiver of is it something that was destined to happen] I find myself staring into the sky daydreaming of clouds. I was on my way to lunch and was driving down the road looking up at some of the most beautiful clouds I've seen in awhile. Houston is in a partly-cloudy day with chances of thundershowers so the thunder heads on the horizon are beautiful. I wonder now what those supercells look like from the top. I know pilots fly but it's not the same as skydiving. Kinda like driving a car and trying to compare it to riding a motorcycle. You can't compare it. The feelings of freedom and joy that come from a great jump are nothing one can put into words. At least not me anyways.. Let's hear your thoughts....
