What the fuck does "fashion forward" mean? It's fucking socks! Wear what's comfortable, quick, and doesn't stink. If someone actually cares what your choice looks like, he's probably an idiot. I just got chastised for wearing "boring white socks" with my jeans. They told me "you need to wear happy socks". Then pulled up their jeans and showed me some very "happy socks" So is it ok to wear white ankle socks anymore? This then prompted a discussion about "black w/blue" and "when can you wear brown with black or blue" As for suits... I wear a very dark blue suit with black shoes & dark blue or black "happy socks". It passed its purpose 15 or 20 years ago. Its now pure horse shit and has been for a very long time. Unless you're in the demographic they're aiming at. 13-24. Then it's entertaining television. I remember coming home from school one day and flipping channels. There was this new one I had never seen before, that's when I discovered MTV. The day it was launched was incredible. I know when I was home the TV was always on MTV waiting for my favorite song to come on. I had the biggest crush on Martha Quinn. I know I was/am a geek. Soon after though I discovered the darkside of music called metal and MTV became dead to me... I waved bye to Martha and MTV forever. Well until Saturday nights when Headbangers ball came on. Peter, that's nothing... I had an ex IM me after about a year. She just wanted to tell me she was getting married. She was getting married to one of my best friends from high school.
