Scrub, It was not a gear check problem. If you read his post it says that the drouge caught in the burble and when he felt it on his arm he pulled the drouge release as he was pushing the drouge away. "In this case the drogue mainteined in the bubble, when the TI feel the fabric in his arm, pushed it and the handle too. Thank you very much. " If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

That is just what I was going to say. Everybody keeps insisting that it be an AFF instructor when in reality it doesn't have to be. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

We have a chainsaw and it really works well. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

Selling Tandem videos with recorded rewind in it
Mickochet replied to stratostar's topic in Photography and Video
Pinaccle can be purchased for $99 and just about everybody already has a PC. If you look back I said that pinnacle was easy I did not say that it was easier. However if someone is a PC user then pinnacle might be easier than having them buy an Apple and relearning how to use a computer at the same time. And before you get into the whole Apple vs PC thing I own and use both. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough. -

Pinnacle is way cheaper and easy to use. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough. -
I agree with that. I can not tell you how many times I have seen people on the plane with Analog altimeters tapping on the front of them to make sure they weren't stuck. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

During my first few months of jumping I went to a new DZ near where my mother was living. She came out to the DZ to see me jump, she had never seen me jump before. A jumper had 2 out while she was watching and as he cut his main away it tangled with his reserve. He lived for about 1/2 hour after he landed. His wife and kids were there as well. So cutting the main away is not always the answer. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

I have landed a side by side before (PLF) My main was a 99 FX and my reserve was a Swift Plus 145. THey actually did not do that badly. I left the toggle stowed and steared with the rear riser and did not flare. Got up and did a Tandem. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

I want to but I don't want to pay to do it. What did you use to jailbreak your iPhone? If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

Several years ago a group of us took southwest to Phoenix - Eloy - on the way home Southwest would not let any of us carry our gear on board. They let the flight take off without us. They ended up paying to Fed-Ex our gear home and put us on a later flight that was no longer a direct flight. We had to change planes in LA and had one more stop before we got home. I will never fly Southwest again if I have a choice. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

1.61 wing loading on 150 sq ft, at 230 total jumps?
Mickochet replied to skydiverek's topic in Safety and Training
I was wingloading my 99 fx at 2.1 to 1 at under 300 jumps. Not the smartest choice. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough. -

1. How old is the woman? 2. How old is the grandchild? 3. How old was the grandchild when their parents died? 4. Is the young man a freeflier? 5. Is the young man a swooper? 6. Is the young man a skygod? If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

You stated - Holding the rating does not require one to teach, but it does require one to understand the skills required of the coach, the goals required of the student, a cohesive understanding of safety tasks, communication, etc. If you don't teach you don't keep your rating! If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

Holding a coach rating does require you to teach to maitain currency and your rating. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

Jumping again is really up to you and every one is different but as long as the doctor said that you are ok. I jumped 3 1/2 months after breaking my right Femur and my pelvis. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

But they do have a state income tax! You would be better off living across the river in Vancouver, Washington. No state income tax and you can still shop in Oregon and not pay Sales tax! If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.

That is childish and another example of how screwed up our society has become. Every body hold each others hands now we can't settle things with a good old fashioned fight and then be best freinds again like we used to. Every body has to mollycoddle the current generation and make them weak. If you never fall down you aren't trying hard enough.
