Dating multiple people, do you tell them??
simplyputsi replied to simplyputsi's topic in The Bonfire
Ah ha, but what if the person you are casually dating tells you, and you really didn't want to know?? Skymama's #2 stalker - -
Dating multiple people, do you tell them??
simplyputsi replied to simplyputsi's topic in The Bonfire
So just a simple question. If you are dating multiple people would you tell them?? I guess also, but i'm not making another poll, if the person you are dating tells you they are dating other people should that be the end of it, or do you continue to play along. Maybe it's just me, but I was always under the impression if you are dating multiple people, strictly dating, that you shouldn't tell the other people. WTF do I know though. Skymama's #2 stalker - -

PotatoHead attacks Woody at Skydive Atlanta
simplyputsi replied to ItHasToBeSaid's topic in The Bonfire
This is totally fucked up. I don't know woody that well, but he was on at least one of my AFF jumps and some after and he was a good guy to me. Fuck the GA legal system by the way. Fuck them right in both eyes and qtip those bitches!!!! Skymama's #2 stalker - -
What is funny is how everyone overlooked the fact that you should never have to buy another air filter if you do make the purchase. I know having mine for 8 years or so has in itself probably paid for itself. I've never had to pay for a new air filter, and it did increase my gas mileage a tad. Take that tad and multiply it by over 100,000 miles and well I'm betting I've saved more than a few gallons of gas. I don't get why everyone is all why the hell would you want to rice up a tiny car?? It's a fucking air filter people. God forbid he puts something that will perform better than the factory part. But it's aftermarket and therfore it should be making his car a rocket?? Now if he put springs on it, replaced the exhaust from the cat back, put headers on it, a turbo, a spoiler, and oh those cool little gauges on the A pillar yeah you could be like what the hell for. In this case there really is nothing wrong with the CAI. However, there is also nothing wrong with a shorty for his application. The stock airbox is crap and replacing it with something better will not hurt a damn thing. Rice it out Scott!!!!!!!! Skymama's #2 stalker -

ever seen the video of the AEM bypass valve?? They stuck a cold air intake with the bypass valve on it completely in water and it was connected to a acura NSX which was given full throttle input while sitting on a dyno. ok run on sentence. Anyway No water got into the engine, well probably not absolutely none, but you are aware there used to be water injection units that sprayed a fine mist of water into the blast chamber? I've had my CAI for like 8 years. I've driven through many a puddle and had no problems. You just have to be careful. I don't think I've ever submerged it, but I've had the chance to and just avoided it. Skymama's #2 stalker -

I have the AEM CAI for my civic si. I've loved it ever since I've gotten it. Is a bit loud when the VTEC kicks in, but I believe it's a problem with backpressure, I need to get a better less resistant muffler. I had to replace my cat converter and it stopped making the loud noise, but that cat went bad. I don't think it was for my car, they put the wrong one on. Anyway. AEM is nice, should come with K&N filter, which you want, and they should come with the water bypass vent/thingy already built into them these days. That wasn't an option when I got mine, but I would have gotten it had it been. But after having it on for like 7-8 years I have not had any problems, cept better throttle response, and maybe some horses. Skymama's #2 stalker -

Well if it's like any other major metropolitan area, they are there early for a few reasons. They think it's cool They hope to get something others won't They know that being the first ones in will almost guarantee they can get what they want. Give it a few days of being open and you'll go in and it will be on order, or backorder. Hooray!!! I wonder if they know you can order stuff online from them Skymama's #2 stalker -

You miss my point. I never said sales people. I said employees who are there to help you. Not sell you. There is a big difference. I get the do it yourself idea. I thought it was a good idea until I went there. I wanted a particular mirror on display. Hmmm ok where would I find this. I'll ask, nope no one around, how bout over here nope no one around. Information desk??? Never saw one. The only employee I did manage to find was sick busy at a computer with a line of at least 5 people behind him/her. Like I said though, they have a webiste, but being as inexpensive as they are it's hard to make a purchase online for certain things, as you would like to see just how inexpensive it really is. It works, obviously, for a mass of people. I'm not that mass. Skymama's #2 stalker -

More employees = higher prices. There's a method to their madness. You get what you pay for. It is crazy busy and pretty much self-service, which is why I don't go that often and when I do I try to go well outside of the peak hours. I don't see it that way being a former retail employee. You can actually have more employees and make more money, because more people are being helped. There is a fine line though for this. I can just say that when I was there they missed that fine line by a lot. Takes money to make money. Maybe they are just being cheap, too cheap. Skymama's #2 stalker -

You need at least 4 though andy. Count me in that group. Do we have to commit to all the rounds?? With the sun going down so early, I'm thinking 3 rounds and then the big way would leave time for some other jumps. It's gonna be a cold first couple of rounds Skymama's #2 stalker -

What are you crazy???!!!! I've been in IKEA once, and only once!!!!! I was like I have no idea what the big deal is. Sure they have some nifty stuff, and it's not super expensive. Try getting help there though. Right right, grab a number and expect to wait, and wait, and wait. I was extremely dissapointed in the set up they have. If you're going to do something like that get more employees to help. But alas there is a saving grace for them. They have a web page, and I'm pretty sure you can order just about everything they offer from it. I had a friend who called me crazy for basically saying IKEA was a joke. Then he went to it a few months later and agreed that he probably would never step foot in the store again. Oh and just so peeps know. It's worse than a casino in there, as far as finding your way out. Skymama's #2 stalker -
