  3. What is the intended purpose of the tin foil? BASE359 It's a little hat for the cable. where is GTA these days anyway? Skymama's #2 stalker -
  4. this is the kind of answer I'm looking for. I did read somewhere, again, that if even one of the insulating threads touched the center the signal would not work. How to make that happen though? any other ideas appreciated. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  5. Ok looking for non obvious, not permanent, and well something done with ease. I mean can't I put something around part of the cable that disrupts the signal, or is the shielding too much? I read that a magnetic field could do it, but in my experience this is not so. maybe I just have to borrow a rat for a few days. Skymama's #2 stalker -

  7. duct tape and a taser could be your friend Skymama's #2 stalker -
  8. water intrustion would disrupt? I guess it makes sense, but wouldn't there have to be a lot of water to do that. And would the water eventually dry out and everything be fine? Skymama's #2 stalker -
  9. I mean what could be done to the cable before it gets to the cable box or tv that would disrupt the signal enough that you could not watch tv? Would a strong magnetic source do the trick? Or do you have to have something physically invade the wire, like a tap or something. Skymama's #2 stalker -

  15. The big question is what were you searching for when you found this?? inquiring minds want to know can I just say airport security at the cancun airport was ummmm well yeah. I saw someone have a bottle of water confiscated, but my can of sprite in my backpack was not. Then when I was searched at the gate, for being late i guess, the guy didn't even open the pouch that had that in it or other pouches in my backpack that could of had things. sham Skymama's #2 stalker -

  17. I'm know it wil never equally match it, but just something close will work for me. Unfortunately I'm really not willing to redo the whole ceiling, even though it's not that large. One reason is the insane mess it will make. Another reason is that the whole condo has ceilings like this and if I do it different it's going to stand out. So my opinion is to get as close to it as possible and deal with it being a little off. Will a potential buyer notice it? Maybe, maybe not. I guess it depends on how well I make it look. I guess I'll have to post pics of my handywork when I'm finished. Might be a week or so though. Skymama's #2 stalker -

  21. Are you saying apply with towel, or apply the mudd and then use a towel to try and match pattern? It will PROBABLY be easier and cleaner to apply with a brush then use a wet towel to shape the texture to match. How big an area are we talking here? Errr negative on the brush application. I use a putty knife, a larger one. I am thinking that the towel method might work though. I read something that newspaper can be used to make a texture and that got me thinking that I might need to use something like that. and ummm read up turtle, 2x2. geesh Skymama's #2 stalker -
