First off, if you are going to quote a story, fucking quote it right. Although they had weapons they were outside the bus, and he was inside. Yes they could have probably stormed the bus, but yet again, why? The attacker is trapped, and his victim is most definitely dead. The best they could do at that point was make sure no one else was hurt and that the guy didn't escape. Which they did. And yes a high velocity lead dispensing device would make a great deal of difference, but again would it have saved the victims life? Doubtful. Also, good luck when you use said device on someone who has not attacked you. Yup believe it or not, unless you are in danger you in fact are committing murder. You wouldn't think that is possible. You get a Police department that disagrees, or a DA and you're looking at defending yourself. I'm saying the man was dead, the story says the guy stabbed him a great deal of times before most even had time to react. And you missed what I said about the people that ride the bus. Most are old, and would end up the same as the attacked if they tried to do something. Plus you're looking at close combat with limited range of motion. 30 people are not going to be able to get to the one man at once. You might get one or two at a time, and the attacker could most likely injure one or two at a time given he had more than a pocket knife from the sounds of it. So, not that anyone cares, but I finally gave up on my stereo this past weekend and bought a new one. I only gave it a little more time because one day it actually started to work again. So I thought maybe it was a loose wire. After checking for myself it was off to the store. Ended up with a Sony, that is ipod ready. Now I need an ipod Pretty happy with it so far as the sound seems to be a little better than my previous one.
