Let me tell you about my swimming debacle scott. So I just need to get a swim in 2 or 3 times a week. I find out there is this aquatic center somewhat near me that should be good for me. However it is a little farther than expected and when I went to check it out this weekend there was not a parking space in the joint. Think they had a meet. So I drop by the LA fitness close to my house. They have a pool, but the honest girl at the counter told me it's ALWAYS busy. She was very open about how much it sucked. So I think I'll try the Y. Pshhhhhyeah. They want close to 50 a month on top of 125 up front fee. I emailed the membership lady and asked if they could help me out since I seriously just wanted to use the pool 3 days max a week. Sure we have temp memberships for 54 a month no upfront. Give me a friggen break. So now I'm with no pool and my first sprint triathlon is just about a month away. So my only option is to drive to the farther place and probably only be able to swim during the week. They charge something like 25 a month or $3 a day. I'll probably use about a gallon of gas just to get there and back so add 3 dollars every time I go up there. I might be better off at the Y, hell to the nahhh I ain't paying that upfront fee. I would if I wanted to use the whole place but I seriously just want to use the pool. Beotches!!!!! Skymama's #2 stalker -
