Well good for you! Most folks are aware of LW. LW hosted USPA Nationals in 2003. The collegiate Nationals for several years running and POPS. A sleepy DZ it isnt. Last year there was a dropzone.com boogie there. It was great. I have been there several times over the years. I'll be glad when the new facilities are in place. Now come on...I make at least one trip each year to Florida Mark! I am not jealous at the moment as we have 88 degree weather, but sometimes when its nicer there...umhummmm. Only thing is...my canopy always flies slower in Florida -

Today in support of a charity fundraising event, Skydive Arizona and Arizona Airspeed participated in a demo drop into Glendale Community College. The non-profit organization’s mission is to provide food, personal care and recreation items to troops serving abroad. 100% of all money donated goes toward the purchase of requested items and postage. Packages From Home is an all volunteer force. No one receives compensation. The American flag was flown in by Jason Peters, followed by Airspeed members who each flew a flag representing the five different branches of service. It was a small tribute and our way of saying thanks to all that serve and sacrifice. If you would like to know more about Packages From Home please visit their website www.packagesfromhome.org

First off a disclaimer: This is my own personal opinion and may not reflect that of my employer. I agree to a point. I think that the WFFC should not be expected to absorb the costs of the tents, nor the labor hours to put them up.(Eloy owns their tents and uses staff to erect them) If WFFC were to ask manufacturers to cover the actual man hours to put up their tent plus a small reasonable rental fee I think it would be fine. In the past it was having the manufactuers at the convention that brought people to WFFC. In essence the manufacturers boogie if you will. When it becomes too expensive for the manufacturers to attend...guess what? People will stop coming...people can crunch the numbers anyway they like to from convention but truth is...its getting smaller every year. (I won't even get into the aircraft vendor portion of this discussion.) So from a business stand point it looks like this: cost for services up, services provided down, employee wages up, lodging up, meals up, tickets up, attendance down. It would seem to me, that it would be reasonable to listen to the vendors. The current program is obviously not working. So my suggestion is this. Come together with a reasonable solution so that the WFFC can continue. The exchange should be an equitable one that works for WFFC and the vendors. The vendors want to come...but they just can't justify the associated costs under the current structure.

I before E accept after C exept as in A as in neighbor and weigh. THERE! LOL it is one of those words that I always have spAllin'/typin issues with. I have a friend that always types like as leik. Doesnt bother me..I can read typonese. I really do not care if people have spelling errors or typos. I can still get their meaning. So how about there and they're!?
